However I'm sure there was some form of religion in the cavemen days. A show on Nat'l Geographic stated that the Mayans Stabbed their penis with the barb from a stingray, then wiped the blood on some parchment, set it on fire... and then were able to communicate with the dead.

This song is melancholy as it stands alone. In the context of "The Meaning of Life", it is downright sad, a tearjerker. I love it. TMoL was the Python's masterpiece.
