WT has their own thing with cadences. Im not a big fan...but, for the most part, it's their own distinct sound...and, they do ok with it.

Now, "playing WITH the band"...they fugg up 85% of JSt's repetoire, concept-wise. You have to be able to adjust your beats to different songs...instead, of playing a whole bunch of beats that sound the same.

For example...if you noticed with JSt...ain't too many songs that ain't tenor-drum heavy. This clip is an example of what Im talk'n about.

actually the way we play helps them to dance. our beats are made with funk. it drives the band to feel the music a lil deeper. now u are kinda right in some cases as far as the tenor. but that added extra sound is wat makes people bob their head.

Love SU's new sound - much, much better. Trumpets and mellos sound much cleaner. Nice power without blasting. Starting to sound beast like the old Juke from the 80s and 90s. Keep it up.
