Co-chairman of the IKKA? The IKKA has been dead for many years now. Who voted him into a hall of fame, and what did he do to deserve A nomination? What does being a vet have to do with his Kenpo? I've been to his school and I've seen his students move. It's a disaster. After seeing his adult class attempt to do Kenpo, it became clear to me that what he learned from Ed Parker is not being taught to his students.
Is this for 1st Black? If so, wow. In under 20 years Palanzo went from 1st Black to 8th? Well, let's not forget about Elvis. If I remember correctly, not only did Grandmaster Parker promote the hell out of THE KING but some Korean master gave Elvis a 7th dan w/out ever teaching Elvis a front kick. Palanzo deserves to be a 10th now but I think it should take more than 20 years to go from 1st Black to 8th.

I trained from 3-13 under Master Palanzo in Maryland! Glad to see some others that remember those days as well.
