I like your comments mariusacolombo. I quite agree. Thank you for that. I am very grateful for every beautiful soul capable of recognizing it. He realy spreads peace and joy. Thanks once again.
@3gennaio1961 ,sorry, people, how can you enjoy it?? they were screeching like slaughtered frogs.horribly.atthe scala in millano they would have been showered with rotten tomatoes.thank goodness it wasnt there.
@ur1sob2001 well some people like it, some people don't. If you think they sound like frogs, well good for you. If some individuals like it, well let them be, is not as if they affect you in any matter.
@rockondon I totally agree with you. I have never really taken to classical music but thanks to AR I am addicted, well to his music anyway. Is there anything he can not play. An absolute joy to watch and listen to.
I don't like the way thas singers performed this inmortal piece, the first one pronunce ugly italien, and at the end all they sang like somebody were running after them...horrible. The orchestra was very well, like always.
Che bruta maniera de cantare della prima cantatrice, non sà la pronuncia italiana, alla fine tutti hanno cantato como se fosse un corso. La orchestra ed il maestro Rieu bravissimi, come al solito
Libiamo ne'lieti calici (Drinking Song) is the most famous duet from Verdi's La Traviata, perhaps one of the most well known fragments of opera around the world, and an obligatory performance (as this opera itself) for any great tenor.
This duet takes part in the first act of this opera, at Violetta's house, and it is sung by Alfredo and Violetta.
Wow(mouth agape), the first and third are a disgrace. I hate speaking negatively, but wow, please stick to church choirs and singing at the local theatre. Opera is more than putting one's hair up and playing the part of 'wearing a flashy dress'. Tip: go see Anna Netrebko or Elina Garancha. Anna <3, :]
even i can sing much much better than those three, might be the recording was bad,it reminds me of the joke, when the dancer doesnt know how to dance,he blames the....floor.andre choose new sopranos those are just terrible,
per fortuna che la musica classica non è questa!!!!

Perhaps the sound isn't that good because it's recorded on a camcorder somewhere in the audience.

La soprano est désastreuse, l'ensemble relève plus de la fête de la bière à Munich que de l'Opéra.

two of this women can barely sing, they are not meant for opera at all. I wouldn't have paid to see these two cheap voices.

Be specific, which one would got you paying?
lesboerin 3 years ago
Or when it comes down to it. Wich one would pay for you or let alone pay for you singing.
PS if y'e don't like it don't watch it(or pay for it)
