I'm totally shocked; yet, what I find most disturbing is that he died by a senseless death of an overdose of cocaine...What a jerk !! As yet we lost Jani Lane, Ronnie Dio, Cliff Burton, Randy Rhodes, Eric Carr, Steve Clarke, Jimmi Hendrix, Janice Joplin....so, who's next ?? I hope not Lemmy Kilmister, he's in a critical age, too at 66.
This is how Kevin died. He was snorting coke the night he died. Before he began to snort he had divided the coke into two piles, a small one to snort immediatly, and a larger one he would save for future.
As he leaned forward to begin snorting his wig slipped over his eyes. As he couldn't see which pile was where, he accidently snorted the large pile, overdosed, and died.

These pictures were from a concert after a Florida Marlins baseball game. I had some connections that got me field passes and that is how I was able to get so close. I was pretty upset when I got the news as well. I actually got a chance to meet him and Frankie and take pictures with them after the Pompano show.

looking at Kevin I noticed here, 2 months before his death that he put on some weight..Kevin was always tight, so I'm guessing he was losing discipline in his life like we all do & simply lost his life..
They found Kevin dead of cocaine over dose after 3 days he lost his life., i imagine he would of lost some pounds with the amount of coke he was into, is it possible something else killed him?

What about Kieth Moon, John Lennon? they can be backups. Lennon is rhythm guitar, and the band can be like the Grateful Dead with 2 drummers, Moon and Bonham. May all of them rest in peace.

I don't know if Kevin always hated this, but on a VH1 documentary in early 07 Frankie said that it was the producers idea to do it because he felt that Kevin and the Slade singer had similar vocals, but that all of the band hated it and didn't want to do it. Kevin did say they didn't like Slade that much, and the plan was: Play the song, play it bad and then forget about the song. Fortunately, that didn't work out! :)
