Anyone who wants to get a dstwo card go to realhotstuffdot com. I've gotten two cards from them as far is I know there only like one of two companies who ships from the us . i spent a crap load of time searching for a decent dealer and I wouldn't want anyone else to waste as much time is I had to.

I read on the dcemu forum that only the iPlayer have the right specs to make a GBA emu work properly. Only when a new flashcard comes out with a better or extra CPU, it would be possible to run the GBA emu on that flashcard. To make a long story short, the R4's CPU (and all the other flashcard besides the iPlayer) are too weak to run any GBA emulator properly.

DS processor: 67.028/33.514mhz, 4 mb ram

GBA processor: 16.78 MHz/0.375 mb ram

so... why do you need a freaking ram extension and ANOTHER PROCESSOR to run gba games on DS?

same for SNES, processor: 3.58 MHz/128 kb ram, yet there's only one emulator that properly manages to run SNES roms, with about 60% compatibility(as far as i've seen)

The AceKard doesn't the CPU processor for it to play GBA games. The only way to get a bypass on GBA on the AceKard is to get the 3-in-one pakage for the AceKard. So, yeah.

If you want to play GBA games without paying more, I recommend the Iplayer, or the SuperCard DSTWO.

@BLACKnITAL1AN because the iPlayer and a few other cards (Supercard DSTWO and EX4i) have extra hardware built into the card itself that you insert into the DS. This takes up extra battery and is not 100%, as it is emulation.

this is NOT a GBA emulator, it is a flash cart that supports GBA files and the software to run it. the DS and DSLite can not run GBA games through slot 1. that is why you need to buy a seperate adapter/flash cart for slot 2 if you want to play GBA roms on them. I have tried converting the .gba files to .nds files but i have had no luck so far. looks like buying a slot 2 flash cart or expansion for slot 2 is the only way to get gba roms to work with R4.

What this emulator shows, is that it is possible. (Although, it is an iPlayer emu, not a DS emu.) It is going to get people working. And yes, I am confident that it can be worked onto any Flashcart. Only dreamers accomplish things.

This one is kind of expensive compared to the other ones. Acekard 2i will run on any ds and its sdhc compatible.

Supercard is making something called a supercard two which will be able to play ds games, emulate gba, and watch a lot of video formats including .avi.
