My Jamaican family heritage is Mother: African, Chinese, European. My Dad European Jew. So yes...Out of Many One People. Right though not everyone gets along in Jamaica, like any other country Jamaica has it's problems but growing up there, my brother and I were taught by our parents that colour, religion, creed does not matter, it's the deeds that a person does that counts. When Chinese business people -- STRAIGHT FROM CHINA -- do business in Jamaica (and may barely speak English, much less with a Jamaican accent), THEY are the ones who are considered/called "Chinee". But when someone who's ethnically "half", "full" or "whatever" Chinese and are born in Jamaica (or are culturally Jamaican because of parents, grandparents, etc), they're considered/called 'Chinese-Jamaican'.

I have been to jamaica to visit FAMILY members and was told that the first jamaicans were black and there is a higher population of blacks, so basically that mostly tells you how they got the axcent my family speaks in a jamaican language they call patwa which is mixed with an african axcent with some britsh words.Oh and indian blood is more common than chinese
