  • RIP

  • Ah Dermot, you should be running this country. RIP

  • If only he knew he would become Taosiach hahaha

  • Yurt !

  • I wish he was alive today, the things he would've said and I wish Bill Hicks was around too.

  • bertie and cyprian watched this vid

  • Personally, I think he was the only one who could do a decent impression of Bertie Ahern. Hard to believe it's been 12 years now since his passing. We could really do with him around these days in Ireland, might lighten the mood a bit.

  • hey look, bertie disliked the video!

  • When Bertie Ahern did actually become Finance Minister (yes, even satire can underestimate reality!), he in turn appointed Charlie McCreevy ("when I have it, I'll spend it") as his Finance Minister, followed by Brian "soft landing" Cowen, who became Prime Minister ("T-shock") when Bertie Ahern resigned. Is there any wonder Ireland is the laughing stock of the world?

  • Maith an fear Dermot, R.I.P. You had that pox bollocks Bertie down to a tee.

  • HOW PROPHETIC!!!!!

  • in fact eh...

  • This was in 1994, Ahern wasn't the Taoiseach at the time, I think he really was the Minister for Finance

  • Dermot was a master craftsman, it is more than a pity the wrong guy died, as we're left with the one whom is about to become the next irish President instead of being number 45908903333 at the Joy, politicans here really have it sown up, amazing lifestyles, avoid prison for Illegal conduct, take no responsibility for their actions, big fat pensions and then drafted onto boards of international companies which they protected while in office.

  • Well said!!

And now we have another FF criminal in little Wille the fuck going to get away with lying to the high court!! Are you on facebook??

  • Thanks for your message, I am on FB indeed, little Willie in his flasher coat, looks like teflon Bertie is heading for the Mayor o Dublin spot, these days I haveta ask if Irish people get what we deserve when we turn these criminals into heros n keep on voting for them, is there really no other choice than FF, two elections ago when FF ran with the banner People Before Politics as a reference to themselves Bankers & their Golden Circle, the only other word they left out was 'LAW'

  • @anthonynewsome

You're dead right in what you're saying!...I agree totally but your grammar is doing my head in a little (sorry!).

It should read , 'the one who is about to become the next Irish President....'. It shouldn't say, 'whom', in this case. The subject pronoun (who) is required here not the object pronoun(whom). They are not interchangeable words. If in doubt, you will always get away with using, 'who', as this rule is ignored in every day speech.

  • @pat4222 yeah - I have word blindness - so some grammer errors will be part of me posts - if there is no underlined I must therefore think it's correct - sur anyways if you get the gist then - happy days & thanks - & hay the sun is out - it's gona be a beautiful day - and Michael Lowery has not arranged rent fees with my landlord -

  • @anthonynewsome

Well you're a hell of a lot better than Bertie anyway!!....He was a true legend of the English language!....Enjoy the sun!

  • @pat4222 thank jesus for that anyways -

  • He pretty much nailed Ahern in this skit.

  • @FXMagellan

Sure did. But that p***k Ahern is having the last laugh :D

  • He's well missed. Talking about the fools 10 years before the shit went down.

  • I'd say fianna fail had him killed. If he was still alive I dont think the country would be the way it is now. There's no one who has come close to him for political satire in ireland.

  • Enda Kenny comes close in terms of satire; you'd almost swear he was a real member of government (I still can't figure out how they do those backdrops ... lool really authentic!)

  • @Nyquistic

Get off YT, the frequency of your posts are at least twice what they should be.

  • God, the material he'd have from the bunch we have now. A true legend of Irish comedy

  • You are a fool.

  • My word your debating skills are amazing. I won't insult you back.

  • Funny!!!
