Thats why it is called Bren.. it is abreviation of BRNO-ENFIELD.. BR-EN.. BREN.. That actual machine gun in video is in fact something else.. it is ZB vz.52 cal. 7.62mm.. :D

The Mosin Nagant can withstand quite a bit.. I would not hesitate to shoot 220gr bullets in it every time if they were available and my shoulder wouldn't turn to mush.

Nagant is a pistol, the rifle is a Mosin. And its just your typical sticky bolt, probably some cosmoline in the bore or lacquered rounds. Either that or they just aren't used to them.

Sorry about not being specific on that one. need to remember to do that. there is no reason a bolt should be that sticky though, all of the bolts on my mosin nagant move smoothly.

Actually a few of mine have mismatched bolts, but after thorough cleaning, the sticking goes away, I'd suggest spraying the reciever with gun oil, then attaching a 12 gauge copper brush to a drill and running that thru the reciever

I hate the crap that builds up in the mosins. I bought an M44 from a guy who thought his bore was junk for $25. Turns out he never cleaned out the bore when he bought the gun, the previous owner had no conscience for guns whatsoever, the bore was PACKED. It turned out to be a verrrry accurate rifle after I cleaned it up.
