On the top left hand corner there is a button that you press and it gets a new weapon. You only start out with the sword and shield and not until the second level do you get the two handed sword.

Hmm. On mine it says hero of sparta. I dont think there is anyway to toggle that but maybe when an update comes out it wil fix.
