He did not have any bad perfomances whatsoever! This, I think, is his best! He is amazing and he should have won! But like he said, Daughtry came in 4th as well and look at how good they did! :)

To respond to arrogance claim, let me paragraph Bono (U2). Performers like him (Bono) do what they do 'cause they love music, art, connecting with people, but mostly because it feeds their ego.' So, if you think James ego is bigger than any of the other top 11 (maybe except for Thia, who needs more ego) think again. This was the best of the night for me. It still floors me, this is the week he got voted off. Top 5 week, I could understand if James was voted off, it was not a good week. Top 4, it was just wrong that this was his last week.

Meanwhile James wasn't the worst but he wasn't better than Haley and Lauren that night, he gets screwed then. It's all true.

In my opinion this performance was better than any of the others that night...why the hell he got voted off I don't know. In a way though, I'm happy that he got 4th place because it seems like people that get that spot can go off and do their own thing like Chris Daughtry did. I think the winner and runner-up immediately get signed to Interscope and I think James will be able to sign with whoever. I'm gonna bet that James will be big. :)

My brother has been a voice teacher/coach for 30 years, his words were "James has a PHENOMENAL VOICE, PERFECT PITCH ..can reach a high F or high G & HOLD IT which is very difficult to do". Some singers may be able to hit a high note but not able to sustain it. His advise to James would be to take some of the money he won & invest in a great voice teacher to learn how to take care of his incredible voice & work on lower register....JAMES ROCKS!!!

@LitZena of course you are entitled to your opinion but I do disagree...IMO First.. that move is known as a false ending ...it is the performer (James) being a tease...& connecting with the audience....also, don't confuse the fact.... that James is enthusiastic, animated , very spirited, and in the moment...loves to connect with the audience, & they love him, a showman .Don't confuse with arrogance. JAMES is the "real deal" ....

In my opinion this performance was better than any of the others that night...why the hell he got voted off I don't know. In a way though, I'm happy that he got 4th place because it seems like people that get that spot can go off and do their own thing like Chris Daughtry did. I think the winner and runner-up immediately get signed to Interscope and I think James will be able to sign with whoever. I'm gonna bet that James will be big. :)

My brother has been a voice teacher/coach for 30 years, his words were "James has a PHENOMENAL VOICE, PERFECT PITCH ..can reach a high F or high G & HOLD IT which is very difficult to do". Some singers may be able to hit a high note but not able to sustain it. His advise to James would be to take some of the money he won & invest in a great voice teacher to learn how to take care of his incredible voice & work on lower register....JAMES ROCKS!!!

And as a person with no hearing disability, I can clearly hear him miss those good notes. both in upper and lower register. Either he make it sharp or flat. My 7 year old cousin can definitely bring it so much better than James. And lastly, he should learn to be humble and stop being so arrogant if he really wants to stay long in his chosen career.
