have you seen GTM's TT kit for the VQ37. they used only 6lbs of boost on the stock block and make 542whp and 502wtq. that was in the G37. just wait until they put in the 370z. that thing will seriously be a rocket
to be honest i never seen a turbocharged hr engine, i'll have to check that out, them numbers are very impressive for only 6 lbs of boost on a stock engine.
The stock rods are weak, so it can't handle that much power.. but as long as the rods are replaced with a good one you can get a good amount power on it. I think the highest WHP put onto a stock motor was 500WHP. This is talking about the VQ35DE's of course, I don't know about the HR's.
Your best bet starting off is probably going with either a Greddy or an APS kit. One thing that I must emphasize is that whenever you have it tuned, make sure who ever does it knows exactlly what they are doing. If they make a mistake, you'll feel it in your wallet.
A friend of mine is very interested in a Turbonetics Single Turbo System for his G35 Coupe. Is that a good system? & is it reliable for a turbo system? He knows more about superchargers, he's new to the turbo scene so he's interested to know about this one. Thanks alot
I would consider a Turbonetics system(single or dual) for the experienced tuner and driver. They are great and reliable, but can wrap your shit around a tree if you don't know how to drive your car. Buddy of my wrapped an 06 350Z around a tree with a single turbo set up, running a conservative tune making 530whp.
Hes probably maxed out 600whp another time. Not this one though, hence he says, "LOW BOOST"

I wouldnt believe it if i saw the dyno with my eyes read 600! Lol 500 or a bit over sounds more realistic

@Gcoups
And why is that? twin GT28's and 3.8 stroker will do it (even with 3.5L its easy)

What kind of rpm can this stroker hit?

Depends on the valve springs. I'd say at least 8,000 max maybe more.

I went through a $3500 turbo set up because the guy that tuned it said that "he had been doing it forever". Thats how you get fucked.

Yup, because there's no way you can wrap your stock 350Z around a tree... oh wait, maybe if you were as retarded as this guy posting.
The amount of idiots on this site amazes me.
