The Lama V4 has got a descent radio with a big antenna so I am sure it will go a lot further than you want to go. They are not that big and if you are outdoors the wind can easily push it around. I don't usually go past 100' diameter. Altogether the lama v4 is a great helicopter.
i have a lama v4, but they dont seem to fly very high at all. with a FULL battery mine (stock) only goes a few metres high... more like Feet.
and only flies for around 5 minutes!!!!!!!

im actually REALLY Dissapointed in the lama v4...... it didnt stand up to ANY of my expectations, and they wont refund or exchange it so im pissed off
