Awesome faction and the long 1 year storyline this was that really hit a climax at Wrestle War 92 and War Games. Look at that group and see 5 sure fire HOFs. Plus Bobby and Arn had a great rivalry earlier in the year for the TV belt and then Bobby and Austin later on would as well. Then what no one has mentioned.....Paul and JR on the mic. WCW was awesome with those two.
Two years earlier, when Eaton was managed by Cornette and feuding with Heyman's Midnight Express, you would never have thought Eaton would ever be managed by Heyman.
Not a weak link in the group at all. At the time, the best manager, best womens wrestler, the best tag wrestlers in Eaton and Arn, the Living Legend, the biggest potential superstar in wrestling in Austin, and Rick Rude who may have been the best athlete in wrestling at the time. Awesome group!!!!
Best athlete? That would have been Scott Steiner....no one could touch him for athleticism in 1991 except for maybe Too Cold Scorpio. And that's only in North America. Japanese wrestlers were about a decade ahead of their American counterparts at the time. Watch the Steiner Brothers vs. Chono and Hase at Clash of the Champions. Chono and Hase were running rings around them.
I completely agree. The Dangerous Alliance era, was incredible. It had the best storylines and at the same time the best wrestling matches. WCW hit gold here as far as quality wrestling. Too bad the Dangerous Alliance only lasted a year.
@cmhero85 Michael Hayes entered the group basically after they kicked Larry Zbyszko out (after War Games 92') to become the new handler for "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson because of their tag team history(s). They were a power trio for a short time but the Dangerous Alliance died a slow death after Zbyszko was gone and everybody kinda just began going their separate ways.
@Missing5thHorseman Your not wrong, Rude should have gone on to win the world championship as part of the fraction with austin turning face leaving the alliance taking him on for the belt. But in true wcw fashion after the AMAZING wrestle war 92 nothing was done with the alliance. God wcw should have been a killer promotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry did Heyman say something? I was too busy staring at Rick Rude

You know Austin was sitting under the learning tree with Arn. He took a lot of his "ass kicking" mannerisms from him.

Loved this stable. Even then, you could see Austin was a future superstar.

To Me This Stable One Of The Most Underrated Of All Time and The WCW Was Better Than The WWF Before Hogan Came And Fuck It Up
