I don't think either one is better....I believe that it depends on what the person wants out of life.... If you want a penthouse sweep in New York and a Lamborgini then sure....be single and sleep with as many girls as you want, but if you want a stable job and a family then finding a potential mate becomes a priority for you...

And with every relationship I've experienced and overall every other relationship that I have analyzed, they all begin the same way, and they all end the same; no matter what. The ones that don't end are usually people that are trapped, blinded by love or used to the person, are too comfortable financially wise or are trapped because of kids. I taught the kids skills and independence, so now I get from them is what I want- loving letters (no asking for money or unwanted intrusions), and the last two who didn't do college joined the service and love being out of the USA on adventures!

You seem to be approaching this issue with very little perspective. Conflict is bound to happen in any relationship, often it gets out of control because it's either over petty issues which propagate into major problems... this forms the basis for BAD relationships (especially those where the pair weren't really meant for each other).... If this was your main ongoing problem, than maybe you should have not been in one the first place.

I'm 43 and single and I love it! I can do whatever whenever I want. I' a single mom but all my kids are gone yay! I grew my hair long (cause i couldn't before) too much work and now I take care of myself! I see my grand kids once a month and got to buy my car of my dreams. NO MORE MINI VANS!

-Don't have to worry your head if you think your SO (significant Other) may be cheating.
- Can watch whatever you want, whenever you want about anything! You can watch The Hills/WWE/other without someone begging to change the channel
- Don't have to deal with PMS
- Can just be yourself
- Can do any weird/crazy habit you may have without someone judging you
- You get as much "ME" time as you want. :)

-You don't have to put on make-up all the time to look pretty for him
-You don't have to constantly watch your weight, worrying that at some point he is going to dump you for being fat
-You don't have to rely on someone else to make you feel happy, wanted.

@FitnessGuru1988 i totally agree, theres nothing worse than somebody you love or deeply care for getting it on with somebody else. its probably the most painful human emotion after grief.& hey guess what? i'm in a 3 month relationship now with a wonderful woman, i didnt go looking for it, it came completley out of the blue, its not without its annoyances though, & at times i have to combat insecurity courtesy of past baggage etc. its all about meeting the right person that makes it worth while

It's also been engineered so that couples will reproduce, and we will have more people from the over-grown population, future employment will increase, GPD economic growth and income increase....more richness for the global governments. Don't fall in the trap people.. we've been single all our lives when we were kids...ofcourse we didn't have developing emotions but who told you, you can't survive being single..

You seem to be approaching this issue with very little perspective. Conflict is bound to happen in any relationship, often it gets out of control because it's either over petty issues which propagate into major problems... this forms the basis for BAD relationships (especially those where the pair weren't really meant for each other).... If this was your main ongoing problem, than maybe you should have not been in one the first place.

I'm 43 and single and I love it! I can do whatever whenever I want. I' a single mom but all my kids are gone yay! I grew my hair long (cause i couldn't before) too much work and now I take care of myself! I see my grand kids once a month and got to buy my car of my dreams. NO MORE MINI VANS!
