  • Yes,the plane came out maybe tooo heavy. The wing loading is ass I recall arround 55sq/dm and the plane all up weight is arround7.2 kg and by my oppinion shouldve been arround 5-5,5kg.I have an electric Yak 54 of 2,16m and it weights 7,16kg with 90sq/dm and it flys like a dream. Here is how the video is called on youtube Hyperion Yak 54 180e flight on a calm day, just compare the control movements betwen these two planes,on the edge I often had to move them to the full.

  • Is that engine too much weight? I saw the comment where you said it came up heavy for 3D, but is 3D still nice with it?

  • i live in the united states.Georgia to be exact. Im not good at conversion with metric, but ill have to look those specs up. One more question tho.. do you thinhk there is another gasser that would outfit it for 3d, if not would there be a fourstroke, or would i have to use 2 stroke on this one for 3d. I kinda dont want a huge 2 stroke.and i also recently been looking into the aeroworks edge 540t i dont think its really built to be a gasser though.

  • this plane still available?

  • I believe you can buy one in Slovenia,or maybe Italy? From where are you from if I may ask?You had a shocking discount in Hyperion 2months ago,a Yak 54 of 2.16m for only 259euros,you could have bought one,I did.Now they are not in stock. You can e-mail me if you wish cause I can write a longer tex there.zoranmilovic@hotmail.com

  • thank you , i cant seem to find a 120 size on the net. this would be a 3rd plane and the 1rst 3d or giant size for me .would there be a better suited engine for 3d for it>?although then again a dl50 mayb good for some one new to 3d? i wouldnt do much more than hover with canopy facing me most likly

  • is this the 60-90 or the 120?

  • This is a 120-180size or 26ccm Edge.I have put a dl-50 and it comes up heavy for 3D with this set up.Its more than 110gr per sq.dm. and it should be arround 90gr.per sq.dm.

  • is that a 60 size seagull?

  • Sorry about the dirty lens.We saw that when the movie was already done.
