You are really really good instructor! I am VERY new to fireworks and only have it for personal use. I have been trying to create a logo for my Ebay store and another online store. I have been struggling to figure it out. I watched your video and was able to create it in seconds!! My logo is already being used in my ebay store. Ok I am having some issues. I have a basic button that has a gradient. I am trying to erase or "transparent" a corner of the button so i can make it an end button. But I can't erase it. And I can't blend the colors manually as well as the gradient. How do I erase parts of the gradient shape so I can have corner buttons?

No, Masking is not a feature exclusively available to Fireworks, you can utilize masking in Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop, among other Adobe applications.
