  • hopffully a baracoda doesnt come like in the movie v.v

  • @raelovesyou98 you r so late

  • You are going to have tons of baby unless the anemone doesnt suck the eggs in to it mouth i had a big problem with that with mt carpet anemone

  • Then..... all of a sudden.... BARACUDA ATTACK!!!

  • @Boomslang2001 hmmm

  • like Support Coral Conservation on Facebook!

  • I'd fuck Marlin's wife anyday. she's a dime

  • Marlin: So, Coral, when you said you wanted an ocean view, you didn't think you were going to get the whole ocean, did you? Huh?

    [deep breath]

Marlin: Oh, yeah. A fish can breathe out here. Did your man deliver, or did he deliver?

  • Nice =] My dad cant get his to spawn... are yours in a tank alone? or with a community??

    xD

  • i recently bought an anemone about 3 days ago and he will not inflate. will you watch the video on my channel and let me know what i can do to fix this problem?

  • inflate?

  • That's how nemo wuz made:)

    XXX

  • If you have a mated pair will they breed? my male is like 3x smaller than the female. will they still breed and if not when will they?

  • also check my vid i just took it yesterday so it is up to date and please telll me if they will breed sooon.

  • Why some clownfish are born with one fin smaller than the other like Nemo and why was Nemo himself born with little fin?

  • um that is only in the film. If you must know why nemo was like that it was because he go gut on his egg by a barracuda

  • Coral and Marlin having sex???

  • ummm i did not see any eggs lol

  • you don't see all that orange on the rock where the female was sliding her bottom up against? the eggs are very very tiny and theres very many of them

  • Get 2 clowns one bigger than the other. The bigger will become the dominant female and the smaller the male. I had them for 6 years and one thing i did to induce breeding was to put a flowerpot in the tank. No other fish they feel more secure with the flowerpot and within 2 weeks they bred for the first time and now they breed every 2 weeks like clock work :O)

  • Very nice tank and the fish are beautiful

  • yah it is!

  • LOL!!the green carpet is full of ....

  • I've always wanted to start saltwater tank but it is so expensive with all the stuff here in Sweden :-( the equipment is expensive the fish is cheap :)

  • now you get doubles..

  • Now there'll be a bunch of little baby Nemos!!! LOL!

  • @TimmyGal You didn't remember Marlin Jr. or Coral Jr.!!

  • @TimmyGal Wrong! There will be one Nemo, and the rest will be eaten... by me!

  • Over a hundred species of saltwater fish have been captive bred but only 15 have been bred in a home aquarium

  • Where did you get that clown fish? can u send me one? here in the philippines.

  • I found Nemo.

  • a little close to the death grip anemone anyone el's think hte same

  • why wont mine lay eggs i have had them for 8 months

  • Clownies are very very very hard to breed.

Everything has to be just perfect.

  • really?

  • yes. They are the "easiest of the Saltwater fish", but only a few species of saltwater fish have ever been breed in aquaria.

I breed discus (arguably the most difficult to breed freshwater fish) and I would say clowns are much harder.

  • ive hear thye exact opposite

  • meaning that saltwater fish are easy to breed? Or clownfish specifically?

I've breed fresh and salt for 15 years. When you manage to raise your first batch of clowns, let me know how "easy" it is.

  • i'm not sayin i can or have ever bred any kind of fish in my life, i just got into saltwater a couple weeks ago im just saying ive seen stuff on google that its easy to keep and breed clownfish

  • a man with fish experience is what im looking for!

i need ur help i got my tank running and everything but im wondering if i need a special light for just 2 clowns and life rock b4 i put fish in

  • hi.. im new to salt water aquariums but i have kept loads of fresh water fish. I'm planning to get some perculas for my 20 gallon tank (95 liters minus the coral sand = 20 gal). I am currently cycling the tank. You say you have bread clowns for over 15 years so i would really appreciate some pointers on how to get them breeding. I propose to get 6 clowns and two green carpet anemones. you advice would be highly appreacited.

  • nooo.... no more than 2 clown!!!! one slightly bigger than the other if possible!! any more clowns and they'll fight to the death!!! if u want them to breed, it is best to get 1 bigger than the other because it is easier for them to decide who is the female, the bigger one is the female. It takes a mature pair to bread, maybe around 18months or more. :) anemones, please try and get tank bred one ;) and leave them for at least 6 months as it is a new tank :) x

  • for some reason my clowns breeds every 5th week?

  • lol somebodies got an itchy tummy :D

  • at a nearby beach, there are like hundreds of these anemones, not just green ones, but blue ones, red ones, yellow ones aswell, and at the fish shop they sell them for like $50-90!! exactly the same type.., im not gonna get one because ive already got a bta and ive heard that they can eat fish aswell??.., plus all thhose laws about collecting and stuff

  • That looks like Marlin & Coral.

  • what kind of "grass" is that?? it looks AMAZING

  • That's not grass. Thats an anemone. Probably the one they are hosting in.

  • carpet anemone its mad cool

  • ive found nemo

  • NEMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u gt put cooler inside???

    grass so beautiful!!!

  • thats not grass its a carpet anemone

  • holy o.o

  • you say that in captivity they dont need an anemone... doesn't that go against their behaviour etc?? it just be interesting to know thats all.

  • I have a pair of clownfish and I have for about five years. They didn't always have an anemone but now they do and they sure love it! They sleep in it and play around in it which is adorable. I actually saw them nip at a new fish I got when it tried to get near the anemone! They recently started laying eggs and I don't think they ever did that before they got an anemone.. so even though it's not necessary it's something they really enjoy!

  • how big is your tank? how my gallons is what I mean

  • I did clownfish for my school animal clownfish, it is weird because humans are all girls, but some change over into a boy. My aunts are doctors.

  • These fishes are sex changers, so if you pick large one and small one and add them at the same time the small one is to be male and larger onbe is to be female. You can also pick two of equal size, and they will sort the sexes out themselves

  • so they can have a weener and a girl weener? what the hell..... are u sure?

  • Yes, all are boys at birth and only the dominant one in the herd is girl. So if there are 10 fishes in anemone, only one is girl. This is because sea is such a dangerous place, so these fishes do not move much from one anemone to another normally. So if the only female would die, there would be none. That is why one of the males then changes rto female

  • So if i got 2 small baby ones the would most likely be a boy and girl?

  • Yes. You can also buy one small and other medium, when they wont fight that much, because the larger one will automatically be dominant

  • Do they need a anomeme or whatever there are spelled?

  • They don't need an anome in captivity. But it's kool if they have one. Just get a camptive bread one if you do get one. Like a Xiana or whatever they are called. So that they are not taken from the wild.

  • that so cute...i wanna get a female and male clown fish too...was it hard to find female and male?

  • Is that a green carpet anemone?

  • Hehe, the fish were like 'Omg, omg, omg, omg!@$!' So adorable :D

  • Have you had any success with the fry?

  • I know. Rap music would be more your style.

  • are they true percs?

  • no.

  • yes they are

  • no they arnt those are called "false perculas" A.K.A ocellaris.

  • No, those are false percs (ocellaris)

  • nemo!!

  • These are some of the cutest fish... I have one at home and I wuv him. XD I love it when they cuddle stuff. lol

  • cant really see the eggs

  • I have a tomato clown fish but i want clowns like da ones in this vid!!! i have to do some thing with the one I have since I cant mix them!!1 or can I?

  • I have different clown fish together, and they dont bother each other at all.

  • If they are not introduced during the same time they can cause problems. Some will do ok and some wont. Try and find a place that will take the fish back if things don;t work out.

  • lets name this half Marlin Jr. and this half Corral Jr.

  • Cute fish.

  • actually the male will protect the eggs idk about the female though

  • which 1 was givein birth and i didnt see a egg

  • the first one you see hovering above the rock is the female laying the eggs, the next one is the male laying his sperm. now if the guy who made the vid started the vid after they begun, then i dont know which is which. the orange shit on the rock where they are hovering is the eggs.

  • One of them should switch their sex in order to breed. Clown fish are hemoaphrodites.

  • this was very interesting cuz i wanna b a marine bio im studyin it

  • Yeah i wanted to be a marine biologist, but have a look at zoology its similar.

  • nemo :)

  • will clownfish eat their eggs or would you have to remove them and put them in a refuge?

  • where? I don`t see it

  • So common, yet still so cute!

  • i heard the clownfish can eat their fry, so when they hatch u better put the adults in another tank, just im advising u to do that

  • A baby guppy was born today, and one fin is smaller than the other, so I named him Nemo! =)

  • when does the shark come and eat your beloved wife and all the eggs but one?

    and who dose that leave?

    Nemo!

  • for all who dont know what goes on....the female is dropping them, the male is swimming back over them to fertalise them and then they are regularly swam over (every 30 seconds) by both parents and are "fanned" to keep all "bugs and proteins" off them.wil never survive as they have a 3 stage hatching process.

  • Will it be okay to seperate them from the eggs once they hatch? some guy said they might try to eat the little fry

  • OH the eggs are that orange on the rock right?

  • Clownfish/Damselfish are Salwater Versions of Ciclids

  • not really

  • where is the eggs?

are they laying dust or eggs?

i want a pair of these fish....
