  • Also, do you mind if I ask what your system is when it comes to organising DVDs on your shelves? I love that you have the Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright comedies next to the Christopher Guest films and then The Life Aquatic on the end. Theyre all favourites of mine. :-)

  • to be honest I don't really organize my dvds per say. I guess it was just instinct to put those movies by each other haha

  • Ah, that's what I figured. I commented on it because I think of them all as a certain type of comedy (the best kind) and agree that they go well together on the shelf!

  • Whoops, sorry, I guess I didn't think about how old this video was. I woke up in the middle of the night and was bored until I remembered I loved your taste and wanted to watch your other videos. I hope you don't mind me commenting all the time!

I've never understood the hype around Friends. I generally don't enjoy sitcoms with laugh-tracks though so that's a big deterrent for me. Seinfeld is an exception because the material rises above the fake laughter.

  • Its not a problem.I actually think that people enjoying my videos is kind of a miracle anyways haha.I actually enjoy your comments so the more the merrier! indeed Seinfeld rises above big time

  • I would probably feel the same way if I made videos, but I guess it just means that no matter what sort of thing people upload on here it's going to interest SOMEONE. I love your videos because you like a lot of the same films I do. Most of the DVD updates I come across on here are of little or no interest to me so it's nice to find someone who talks about things I actually like for once! I'm glad you like my comments because I would hate to think I was annoying you.

  • no not at all. and I'm sure we might disagree on some movies haha

  • Oh, I've no doubt we would disagree on a few. It would be creepy if we didn't! I'm not really into big, blockbuster, action-type movies like The Bourne series so we obviously differ there, but I also have a major weakness for the LotR trilogy so there's that. It's sort of my exception to the rule I suppose. I like a lot of weird, depressing films which is strange because I'm a very well-adjusted person. Maybe one needs to be well-adjusted in order to appreciate those sorts of things?

  • I actually need to get into more of those haha that sounds bad.

  • You and I have pretty much the EXACT same taste in TV. Nice! I agree about Michael Cera, by the way, he's been the same in everything I've seen him in and the best thing he's done is still AD. He needs a good kick up the arse. Larry David is amazing, I idolise him too. You should definitely get the UK Office because it's much better than the US version IMO and if you liked Extras then it's definitely for you. Seinfeld is my "Friends" too! I really don't like Friends at all. :/

  • I've actually seen all of the uk version of The Office since this video. I'm going to get it sometime on dvd. its great.

    yeah Friends is meh

  • Arrested Development! You have just gotten 5x more amazing, haha. It's one of my favourites. Shaun of the Dead is definitely great. I want the 3-disc Hot Fuzz too. I spent 30$ on the barebones, and bam... next few days, the 3-disc is announced. I was so angry!

  • You have AWESOME TV taste. Yay for Curb and Seinfeld, Larry Davis is simply genius.

My edition of Spinal Tap is French and its pure luck I found it lol. I have no idea if its still available or out of print.
