and...in another video similar to yours on the cheese doodles from burger king 'whatever that is', I attempt to eat a McDonald's hash brown, 'whatever that is'. We seem to have some things in common: i. being sane ii. taking a skeptical view of those who suggest that what is in order, regardless of the trouble or circumstances surrounding it, is a regimen of costly drugs and a Happy Meal
The more of your videos I watch, the more I believe we have some similar sensibilities. In recent videos, I have expressed all of the following 'Perhaps you're not that 'into' acceptance'; 'psychiatrists are very glad-handed in filling out the rx and are not always forthcoming'; 'mental health might have something to do with trying to eat, sleep, and have basic social contact and some form of physical activity'...
even though in my line of work I am on the same page with you!!! I got my Ph.D instead of my M.D because I do believe M.Ds give out meds to fast! It is easier to medicate someone that to help them psychologically. A med can shut someone up but if it does not truly help them....I have do say doctors M.D.s and Ph.D in the field.....many are on the same page as you!
Lorelei, you SAID IT!!!! I'm also skeptical of the pharmaceutical pushers out there. Do meds really help? Perhaps, but we have to do the real work. Will comment more soon...loved the video. Stay well :)) Peace.
HA HA HAAA ......I love you Lorelei.........great great vid. And spot on ..........Big Pharma is making the money and we should be Paranoid!!! Acceptance can be a trap as well......Just be what ever you are for the moment.....no judgement, you are intelligent and you see clearly, anyway that's my opinon.............be well!!
I think the key is to, as you said not trust what they (pharma) says at face value but find a doctor that does not get influenced by them.....there are many docs out there that hold their ground....they are just hard to find.....just an fyi
