it's not a case of talent (or lack thereof) or being good enough. it's a case of funding, interest and exposure. in australia, the world championship deciding f1 race takes a back seat to what the local rugby players have for breakfast.

all the media attention is focussed on either football or cricket. so what chance do australians have getting big foreign sponsors if there's simply no interest? so, it isn't a case of not being good enough and it's ignorant to think so.
