Are they an aggressive species? Compared to say chilean rose? The ones with nice colours tend to be. Old or new world species?

no there not agressive. they wont bite you unless it feals insucure, or they think your going to attack.

She has never bitten me. I like them because they're hardy, have a nice appetite, and are almost always visible.
