Ristar's original design was not Sonic though it was a rabbit with the ability to stretch his ears, changing into an arm-flexible star from his own galaxy system

Wow, i just found out that Sonic Advance 3's Boss Theme sounds like this actually =D Because when i listened to this, i thought i heard a similar theme from another game. And i did: 1:23 - 1:42 sounds like the Boss theme from Sonic Advance 3, though Greedy Game is faster in tempo than that one. ^^ Compare them yourself, but I played both and they sound very much alike, especially when i sped up the Sonic Advance 3's tempo then it sounded very similar.

i still don't get why some people say the genesis has a crappy soundchip.it's like comparring emg's with duncans it's like comparring apples with bananas.total Bull.

snes has a cleaner sound genesis more distorded(heavy) while snes has orchestrals and some peices that rise above neo geo level.genesis has also a big pro man hear the bass in genesis games it's insane it's fatter lower then many hardcore rave song's.genesis has heavy bass.and the other instruments do just great nice and melodic.

Well, Mr. SolidSackboy, if you look in the corner, it says it was released in 1995, a full year after the PlayStation slammed into the market. At that point, the Genesis was completely overshadowed, especially seeing how the Saturn was coming out soon and the add-ons were being a pain in the ass.

I just beat the game recently on Sonic Mega Collection. Took me about 12-15 lives until I beat Greedy. He's easy until you get to the part where he starts launching lightning at you after using the black hole. There's also a part where he has orbs around himself and he starts shooting them, but I attacked him as he launched them and I glitched the fight into when he started using the black hole while he shot the blue orbs at me. X_o
