I think a girl or boy is personal preference. However, I completely believe in getting the dog fixed as early as 6 mo of age. In a boy, this prevents him from being territorial and peeing on everything and in a girl, it prevents the cycle from happening. Getting your little one fixed makes them happier, prevents behaviors you don't want to deal with and helps minimize the already overpopulated pet population. I hope I helped.
do u recommend girl maltese dogs or boys? im not sure if i should get a girl considering ive had only boy dogs and did you get your maltese fixed and if so did her personality change? im curious becuz i heard if u dont get girl dogs fixed they have their cycle
