Hi there again. Thanks again for your comments. Yes we considered a few methods. However, the best way for us is still the old "by hand" method! You can use a twisted piece of wire as a "hook" and you can also use the special uncoupling ramps which are readily available to buy. We have a few in stock but have yet to try them out. We may consider fitting one at Chilvers and at Sutherland for days like this when we go back and forward. Cheers

Hi again The trains ran really well on such a wet day, full marks to the gardeners on your railway it looks really great.
Yet another question which method do you use to uncouple locos? I have seen several ideas but cannot decide which to try yet.
