It's called a lense flare. Bright lights do this and it mirrors the light, sometimes inverting it (upside down). Watch videos of bonfires at night or other sparklers in really pitch dark.

Its the light reflecting off the lenses and inner lenses, it moves that way whenever the camera jumps around, if the camera was still it wouldnt be moving at all. I get them all the time man.

It looks like a May Fly, which is usually white, however, it is reflecting the color of the flare, which makes it look green

I looked up a cool Vodaphone commercial on YouTube that features a May Fly and it does fly in a similar way - vertically oriented.
