  • Ahhhhh, the old start with the black painted door and wash off the paint... trick!

  • Not new....same process that is used to make mirrors...invented by German Justus von Liebig in 1835.

  • Ma se uno deve farsi tutta la macchina?????

  • How does this system differ from the other two leading sray chrome companies. What's better about this system? I see you spray water just after your spray the chrome spray unlike the other systems that do it step by step.

  • alien technology which was used to paint their ship

  • Hmmm wearing a NIOSH N95 Respirator should protect you from fumes.

  • 2,512,650 yen for that kit! That's $30959.11!!

  • fantastic

  • tou impressionado com a estufa de pintura

  • How to clean the old chrome?

  • I'd love my car to be done with just one coat of this. It looked cool after the first spray!

  • When you take an old car, before you process it, how do you get the old chrome off? Mechanical or you just get the new one over the old???

  • The man with the headband is kind of getting in the way of the guy that is shooting the nitrite. The wash only happens at the end of the process. It does not need to be during the chemical reaction time.

  • Nice job on the door! I've seen a lot of dual head guns spraying activated silver and silver reducer, but what is the extra gun head for? Is the third gun head spraying the tin?

  • How much would it cost to add this system to my plating shop?

  • Wow!

  • its going to rust before they get it on the vehicle

  • metallic horizons are the kings of this type of finishing i think! excellent video and process here as well..

  • Nice !!! i want to paint my car also !! how ??

  • I just pictured painting my entire truck with this stuff, that would be so cool!

  • I hate all the chrome "Bling" plating. But have to admit this is a pretty impressive process and results.

  • Silver nitrate and salt? could this be used to paint an engine

  • Que lindo mano

  • looks great ... but where are your safety glasses ?

  • @Kiwittgmail I was good without!

  • @Kiwittgmail he is chineese, he dont need safety, if he get hurt!, get another one

  • @Kiwittgmail umm read the description>??

  • this is fuckin' awesome..

  • pretty shiny.

  • woowww!!!!

  • That is a Water?

  • Yes, we use water too....but not only water :)

  • can i wear my chrome plated necklace to shower

  • @eddy536 Why not?

  • it comes up nice, but how durable is it, if some accidentally scuffs it can it be polished out?, could you use it on alloy wheels, would it last??

  • @mikldude In general lasts like a normal car paint.....but is sensible to scratches since you can not just polish it, you migh need to remake the whole part.

  • the problem is the water or snow that can occur a chemical reaction to the chrome layer...and it can turn black.

  • @chrome4plating can you scuff it and clear coat over it?

  • @chrome4plating ok, thanks mate.

  • wooow amazing job !!

  • @ZakaTetuani Thanks

  • Nice blond.

  • it wasalso done on pimp my ride with a mustange check it out it class

  • good job !

  • fuck me

  • I still wouldnt take a chance on breathing that stuff in...

  • what kind of liquid is that ?/h ehhehe i tought it was paint. ^_^.... i like to chrome my galardo^

but i don;t know where haha

  • @TheSilentbreaker your only 19 and your phillipino, obviously you don't have a gallardo you yellow cunt

  • @liamorocks

he might be a lady boy who sells his body to rich Arabs and sheikhs from dudai , or maybe it was donated to him by a tranny sheikh wearing pink hugo boss boots !

  • @THCmuzicalmasta you made me lawl :P

  • Comment removed

  • 3 guys don't have car doors to chrome

  • i wonder if you coat it with clear would it fade much.

or would the clear stick one day your using a pressure washer and boom there goes your clear.

i like the idea its great

  • Watch people go crazy with this shit/ SB-129 spongbob hahaha "EVERYTHING'S CHROME!"

  • Im guessing the dude with the pink headband will develop lung cancer within the next few months.

  • WOW!!!!

  • i Think I'm Gonna Do it W/My Camaro..

  • @rahmoniack I wouldnt. Not only does it look tacky, but it only has the durability of a can of sprain paint. Even with clear coat and all that, It will oxidize really quick.

  • 98 + 2 = 100

  • think of all the fun you can have trying to wipe off all the fingerprints etc. Then think how much it will cost to do the whole car. Then think about the irate person putting thier foot where the sun don't shine because of headlight or sun reflection. Enuff said!

  • wheres I can buy this tools and the materials?

  • @syamdanarta i use the spectra chrome system.. But im have over 20,000 in my set up...

  • Damn Japaneeeese people Alway a step ahead of us hehhehh NOOOOT

  • @MrGONZHORA

wth does that have to do with shit. second thats an incredibly lame comment, you need to find better wording these days

  • In fact, unless you need "real" chrome's durability for a tailpipe or a semi-bumper or in electronic applications, this is the wave of the future for chrome elements on vehicles. Must current manufacturers use huge vacumm-plating machines for those new plastic chrome bumper details and interior chromed plastic. This is far less expensive and actually reflects a sharper image than the aluminum in vacuum metalizing and the auto manufacturers are already adopting this on smaller parts.

  • Keep in mind people this is NOT CHROME. It is a silver coating. Chrome is hard and durable and is used inside gun barrels. This particular coating is VERY soft and susceptible to scratching and damage. I don't think it's really particularly suitable for a vehicle being out in the elements. Hail or rocks hitting this WILL ruin it. The factory paint job is MUCH harder than this plating. They had better be putting on a REAL GOOD THICK clear coat or you're wasting your money. Even then...

  • @AnontheOP Good clear is always applied after this. The new clears are extremely hard and as durable as any other factory surface. Jobs like this you use one of the topshelf Glasurit or ICI line topcoats. "Real" dipped chrome would be almost impossible to apply at this scale and would cost a fortune. Real chrome will lose tons of business to this in the years to come.

To a regular shop this is a huge moneymaker, it's basically a reclear job with a couple extra steps.

  • HOW MUCH FOR SOME CHROMING DONE

  • the door looks like its off a Volvo who fuckin chromes a Volvo.

O ya if i use this on my penis will it give me cancer?

  • Awesome

  • HOW MUCH OF THIS I NEED TO CHROME MY PENIS!

  • @chamblizi not much, not much at all

  • @chamblizi LOL

  • It would look sick as black top fade to chrome bottom

  • same principle from mirrors :)

  • awesome !!! just awesome... where can you buy that paint-silver nitrate thing? I what to try it on haha this is stuff man ..

  • that shit is tight how much to spray a full four door car?

  • thats amazing! But is it real chrome or a silver coating that will tarnish?

  • WTF!!! HOW MANY TIMES HE FUCKING SPRAYED THAT SHIT

  • Meu Deus! Essa tecnica sim é perfeita! Muito superior às outras!

  • silver nitrate is sprayed on. followed by a solution of sodium chloride. The reaction causes the silver to seperate from the nitrate and deposit on the surface

  • @lovinit19791 Im sure there is more to it- i would love for you to explain it in a PM thanks

  • @lovinit19791 can you till me the concentration please of both

  • @ekoki1313 sorry i dont know the concentrations, i just know how its done lol :)

Im sure its a guarded secret.......otherwise everyone would be doing it to everything they laid their hands on haha :)

Have you tried on google for them?? I had a quick look and didnt find anything :(

  • @lovinit19791 Can you be more specific about the process? - what is the solution made of besides sodium cloride? - and can this be done at home as a diy project?

  • So wher dos all the stuff go after u spray in on the door ? down the drain? Chrome Drinking water? Chrome Fish ? chrome people?

  • i was going to say i want a chrome bonnet but then omg glare would be nuts maybe just a chrome boot so people lights reflect so they stop tailgateing me :P

  • :O

  • the best!!!

  • brilliant!

  • Fucking insanity!!! I love it!!!

  • magic

  • "new revolutionary chrome plating system" Not new, not Revolutionary, and not chrome. This is Silver chemical plateing, the technique for this has been around sense the 1800's. Silver is no where near as resistent or physical durability of chrome, The primary use for this technique is for mirror plateing plastic's cheaply. Wile the point of chrome is rust protection and a polished look (Silver will not provide much of any rust protection)

  • '' can u give me some advise how to make a spray on chrome?

  • @lefteyeblind81

You cannot spray on chromium, You can spray on silver by spraying it with a solution of silver salts and then sprayed with a catalist solution (depends on the salt) to seperate the silver and it deposits to the surface. Its the same process as mirroring glass just silver nitrate is avoided due to the silver azide byproduct (highly toxic, requireing hazmat disposal or a expensive recovery system).

  • @Lokivoid

If you wish to apply real chrome to plastic or other non conductive materials you would first have to do a chemical plateing of nickle to create a conductive base layer. Then you would electroplate the chrome ontop of the nickle.

  • @Lokivoid This is break through not old school...MORON!

  • @Bobakanoo

How is it a "break through" you do realise what there doing is vary old chemistry formula called Tollens' reagent, that has been used to plate mirrors sense the 1950's?. What you see here is infact more "old school" then chromium plateing "moron".

  • КРАСИВО

  • You take a chromed panel.. then you paint it black..then you spray on some solvent and then some water and hey presto.. you have a chromed panel..

  • atleast ur doing something, just try to mass scale the idea :)

  • I think I saw this process on Jey leno's Garage.

  • o_O es lo mas hijo pu.. ke e visto

  • what chemicals are present in chromium?

  • This really isn't a chrome plating process. What you are looking at is the same thing mirror manufactors use to put the reflective coating that goes behind the glass in the mirror. The shiney material sticks to the product, the run off you see is water. It's a three step process. With nice results.

  • why chrome paint looks easy to be done

and its the most expensive paint

  • looks like a waste of paint please explain??? price vs. efficiency

  • Nice job but this is not actually chrome plating - they are using a spray PAINTING process
