The random id could fuck you in the ass later, what if another player gets that random id.

Also, I'm sure you know this by now since this tutorial is almost a year old, but that's a poor database set up. Too redundant, you shouldn't be repeating information in more than one table. Unless you're going to make it so people can edit their weapons, like renaming them or upping their stats, and even then I'm not sure this is the best database setup.

But nonetheless a nice run down overall!
