Lily pisses me off. If she chose Snape in the very beginning neither one of them would be dead, and the only person who wouldn't have been there was Harry.... Don't get me wrong I love all three of them but Snape had such a terrible life. He put up a happy face when Lily was breathing and they were friends but it doesn't seem fair. James did get everything. Severus deserved the one person there for him.

I'm sad for Lilly, and mad. Kinda hard to watch with this music. I never read the books but I've got the jist of it from other postings. So, I'm definitely sad for Harry's Mom that she was killed, but wayyyyy sad for Severus. His story should've been central in the movies, too. His charachter is heart-breaking. I don't really get how they can do the ending without giving Sev. more of a background, but hey, it's the movies. Think Severus is getting the short end of the stick though.

Snape lost Lilian twice: one for life and another to death. He lives in loneliness and remorse. He is an honorable and brave man and will give his life for Harry, who could have been his son.
But Snape wasn't evil because he could love, not because he wasn't loved. Voldemort is evil because he does not have the capacity to love, even though he is loved (by Bellatrix Lestrange) Snape is a good man, though he can appear cold, and unfeeling. He loved Lily Evans Potter his whole love, and was completly devoted to her, and by default her only son Harry.
For your information, this video was made and uploaded to youtube, a little over a year before the Deathly Hallows book was released. Thus, it was only based on my personal belief concerning Snape and Lily's relationship.

Snape called Lily a mudblood because he was hanging upside down with his underwear showing. He was embarrased, and angry. Lily was embarrasing him even more because the girl he loved was defending him. In Snape's mind, that would show he was weak if he couldn't even depend himself.
Snape had to love Lily, why else would he have felt so remorseful and come to the good side when he realized Voldermort was going to Lily's house? It certainly wasn't for James.
She hadn't chosen James yet, though. In that memory she still hated James. It was 5th year. But the cats out of the bag now. Can't wait till the 7th movie comes out so we can make fan videos out of THOSE scenes. But I am ticked they edited her out of Snapes Worst Memory in movie 5.

I love this song choice. I thought of Snape immediately when I first heard it. Great editing and use of color too. I really hate it when I see a generally dark video that suddenly includes a very colorful shot from one of the first movies.
Okay fine. Good point but if there was anything to do that would increase the chances of Voldemort becoming in full power it would have been to kill Dumbledore. Snape is no match for Voldemort. He takes out the only wizard who can win against Voldy (except Harry) to make sure he can stay a "loyal" death eater. I don't believe it. And on Lily and Severus. It better be a one way relationship--Lily loves James not Severus there is no doubt about that.
Whenever JKR is questioned about what the relationship between Lily and Severus was like, she always avoids answering definitively. Plus, the books support the theory as well. Dumbledore's not stupid, he knows that Snape hated James. So: who else could have died and caused Snape to regret it? Hmm? I think Harry will have to get over his hatred and cooperate w/ Snape to bring down Voldemort. They both want revenge for the same death.
Dumbledore was dying, by Snape killing him he 'proved' his loyalty to the death eaters and then he's going to be the hero of book 7. As for the Lily and Snape pairing, I totally believe and I think that it was the reason that Dumbledore trusted Snape. Dumbledore knew Snapes feelings for her and Snape was devestated at what he had done because it had resulted in the death of the woman he loved. The power of love, remember?
Well, I believe Dumbledore mad enough to have told him to do it in case there is no other choice...and anyway...it's the kind of things Dumbledore would have done (just re-read "The Cave", when he tells Harry to swear he will do whatever he is told).

Severus and Lily are my favorite characters now! The seventh book made me sob about the whole Severus/Lily thing. The reason Snape protected Harry all these years was because it was Lily's last dying wish and he felt he owed her that. I think Severus deserved Lily, but he didn't win her heart... Sigh... Lol! Go Snape/Lily! Lol!

I've always loved the idea of Snape saving Harry's life because he loved Lily. And now I've read Deathly Hallows, I know what happens and I'm so happy! One of my many theorys were right! (Well, just the Snape/Lily part, but anyways...)
You're right, this song does make me think of Snape/Lily... now I feel so sorry for Snape... I just want to give him a big hug!

Snape called Lily a mudblood because he was hanging upside down with his underwear showing. He was embarrased, and angry. Lily was embarrasing him even more because the girl he loved was defending him. In Snape's mind, that would show he was weak if he couldn't even depend himself.
Snape had to love Lily, why else would he have felt so remorseful and come to the good side when he realized Voldermort was going to Lily's house? It certainly wasn't for James.

She hadn't chosen James yet, though. In that memory she still hated James. It was 5th year. But the cats out of the bag now. Can't wait till the 7th movie comes out so we can make fan videos out of THOSE scenes. But I am ticked they edited her out of Snapes Worst Memory in movie 5.

Okay, now that I've got out my emotion after watching this several times, I truly believe that Severus loved Lily and she might have possibly loved him back at one point. JKR always seems to skirt around answering whether Snape was ever in love... Kudos to you! Again, this is a great video!

And Snape seemed to eager to kill Sirius. Maybe not only because Sirius also tricked and teased Snape when they were in school together, but posibly because everyone seemed to think that he was the one who brought death to the Potter's doorstep. Thus killing Lily.

And I mean think about it. Snape hates Harry. Harry's father married Lily. Snape might hate him not only because he kicked and bullied him around, but because he 'stole' Lily from him. And thus he hates Harry too. But he has protected him a couple of times. This might be because Harry is Lily's son...

I love this song choice. I thought of Snape immediately when I first heard it. Great editing and use of color too. I really hate it when I see a generally dark video that suddenly includes a very colorful shot from one of the first movies.

Okay fine. Good point but if there was anything to do that would increase the chances of Voldemort becoming in full power it would have been to kill Dumbledore. Snape is no match for Voldemort. He takes out the only wizard who can win against Voldy (except Harry) to make sure he can stay a "loyal" death eater. I don't believe it. And on Lily and Severus. It better be a one way relationship--Lily loves James not Severus there is no doubt about that.

Whenever JKR is questioned about what the relationship between Lily and Severus was like, she always avoids answering definitively. Plus, the books support the theory as well. Dumbledore's not stupid, he knows that Snape hated James. So: who else could have died and caused Snape to regret it? Hmm? I think Harry will have to get over his hatred and cooperate w/ Snape to bring down Voldemort. They both want revenge for the same death.

Dumbledore was dying, by Snape killing him he 'proved' his loyalty to the death eaters and then he's going to be the hero of book 7. As for the Lily and Snape pairing, I totally believe and I think that it was the reason that Dumbledore trusted Snape. Dumbledore knew Snapes feelings for her and Snape was devestated at what he had done because it had resulted in the death of the woman he loved. The power of love, remember?

Well, I believe Dumbledore mad enough to have told him to do it in case there is no other choice...and anyway...it's the kind of things Dumbledore would have done (just re-read "The Cave", when he tells Harry to swear he will do whatever he is told).

snape and lily were best friend throughout there years at hogwarts and she was the only real friend he had aside from all the wannabe death eater friends he had who were cruel and wanted to join the dark master she told him she didnt like him hanging around with them he loved her ever since they first met though and it was his fault the potters were killed in the first place because he told voldemort bout the prophecy he felt so bad for what he had he swore to dumbledore to always protect harry

Severus and Lily are my favorite characters now! The seventh book made me sob about the whole Severus/Lily thing. The reason Snape protected Harry all these years was because it was Lily's last dying wish and he felt he owed her that. I think Severus deserved Lily, but he didn't win her heart... Sigh... Lol! Go Snape/Lily! Lol!

(This is bballrunner32 on my sister's account...) Yeah, I eat my words. I'm in love with the whole Snape/Lily thing so everyone can start the chant of 'hypocrite' now! Lol! And if it means anything, I DID change my mind about the whole Snape/Lily and Snape being good thing BEFORE the seventh book came out, so I'm glad that it worked out... Well, not for Severus... Sigh... I loved how as Snape took his last breaths he said 'Look at me' so he could see Lily's eyes, one last time.
