Kudos Obama, but you were kind in your words. Tell off these people- as though they are listening anyway. Our politicians have made our cause as useless as they are.
Hey Mr Karuitha i say kumamako!!! kafirwe mkundu! have u seen a black a president ruling the world in ur life time specailly now 2010. kwenda makende wewe!!
Good snub, why come shake hands with a bunch of "good for nothing" kenya politicians, what have they done for their people, they keep talking new constitution, Agenda 4, truth & reconciliation yet no action, bure kabisa, useless politicians evading tax while we still have IDP's living like refugees in their own country, worsening security, if the thugs or mungiki dont kill you, the police will, something has to give, Kenya needs a change in leadership
Why are Kenyans so forcused on where he goes while there are more pressing issues here in Kenya like corruption which our government seems not 2 be doing anything about
Obama + America wacha double standard. When it comes to democracy, rule of law and human right issues some countries that American has vital interest in it are not questioned (Egypt, S/arabia, and isreal) but when it can to poor nation in sub Sahara and Latin America the rules is always differs.
if it will take obama not coming to kenya, and his comments, for kenyans to "step up" and DEMAND meaningful change then be it...... good on obama for snubbing kenya.
I reckon Obama is feigning his oblivion about this matter just for his publicity's sake, si alikua anajua Kenya is fuckd up hata kabla afungue iyo mdomo yake. So now he comes floating around talking it out loud just cause at the moment anyone leaning on the favour of seeing a brighter side to Kenya will lose voter approval. Wakenya we'll do it right in Hague we don't need no Obama....he wasn't there when we needed him anyway. Fala iyo
Obama knows who is in the envelope....he cannot be seen shaking hands with people who will be in the HAGUE soon when he has to worry about relection in 2012......elect better leaders first....1+1=2
You forgot the NSSF scandal, The missing sports and youth ministry money scandal, Kenya Tourism Board Scandal and of course many smaller ones that never make it to the national news
Yes sir... Obama cannot visit a FAILED STATE. There's nothing for him, as the US president, to discuss with fools, criminals and anti-human beings. He would be stooping too low to meet what Kenyans call, "his excellency, mheshimiwa". What a joke to have such titles! Don't we have enough jails in Kenya to take care of the big filthy fish?
I dont blame him Bush and Clinton did the same thing, its not about him. The U.S policy does not change just because Obama is the president. Infact coming to kenya would cause him alot of criticism. Blame it on Raila and Kibaki for not being serious on reforms that Obama didnt come to Kenya.
well said obama...bad governance,mr.kibaki and raila must account. kenyans are ready for change and as soon as their coalition fails weshall kick them out with their uhuru dynasty and jimmy kibaki, lucy kibaki shittty operations.
We heard him the first time! Must he keep repeating that line every time Africa comes up? He is now messing up Kenya's reputation...what's left of it! (n somebody remind him his cousin is a PM and does not need another job!) We aren't deaf!
africa has some of the dumbest politicians and president obama should not be shaking hands with shady people.

Keep it up Obama, do not enter Kenya forever until the dominate politician repents, such as Saitoti, Kiraitu, etc.
