I think he is trying to stop the fire with gazoline. the last thing he should do is give money to the banks, or to the car makers. When the bank gets the money, they will simply put it in the cashflow, to not break, will raise the taxes, prossecute the clients that do not pay (they have the money to do that), fire employees, reducing costs, and distribute the "profits" to the share holders. Let the bank broke, at least, the americans will keep their homes.

Let me explain.
Obama says he will tax the rich to give to the poor.
But who is the rich? The rich is the guy who sells you things.
So, when Obama taxes the rich, the rich turns around and raises the cost of what he sells to the poor.
I.e., Obama's taxes on the rich, are invariably passed on to the poor in the form of higher cost of living (COL).
In the end, whatever Obama gives to the poor, is ultimately canceled out by higher COL.

Let me tell you something about the rich.
The rich don't like having their hard earned money stolen from them any more than you do. The bar has been lowered so much on the rich, that now a household income of what is it $260,000.00 qualifies you as rich? In any event, you could tax the rich 100% and not pay down half the deficit spending for this year alone!
One more tip for socialists who don't get it - the rich... will... leave.... They're already opening bank accounts around the world.

Why do you think Wal-Mart is the largest company and not Saks Fith or Macy's? Companies still get tax cuts and for the last 8 years they have been getting tax breaks, but not hiring anybody.
