  • I don't care if they reboot, just so long as the characters stand for what they've always stood for and the stories are great to read. Personally, I thought that Detective Comics and Aquaman were great.

  • SEE!!!! Hitler urdentands me

  • I fucking hate reboots, thats why i'm no longer an MK fan.

  • @codafett MK?

  • It sucks if you are german and understand the REAL text and the subtitle dont work-.-

  • wow...you mean this reboot is not like Marvel's Ultimate Universe????

    what a ripoff!!!!!

  • That was one of the greatest things I've seen. In the last few months I've yelled the same4 things.

  • 3:10 till the end, I never thought I'd say this, but I feel the same as Hitler. Ah who am I kidding, he's right in this whole video.

  • Like Movie Bob said, it really doesn't matter where you start reading, whatever reference to past events in a comic continuity the reader can simply check Wikis to get up to speed and get acquainted fast

  • I do agree with Hitler, but at the same time I'm excited to see Barbara Gordan as Batgirl again, as well as the original Teen Titans. I use to love reading those but then I moved out of country for a few years w/no access and when I came back I was just as confused as Cyborg upon waking up to the "NEW New Generation"... They don't need to start the beginning of time all over again, but it'd still be nice to read about the original heroes (i.e. Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson, Bart Allen, etc.)

  • HAHAHAHA, thats brilliant. And you are absolutely right with this. First Marvels Spider-Man - I will only collect back issues before Brand New Day and now DC, where you can't buy anything after the reboot. To kill the whole past is a big suicide.

  • lol i agree totally REALLY agree with his Batman RIP comment Im 23 I didnt read the first 40 years of Batman but i got RIP to its cause they did a GREAT job filling us in on Batmans golden age secrets before RIP to let younger guys like me know oh ok

that and i did alot of Batman research on Wiki XD

  • @Blackmoltensteel lmao me to

  • YEARS! YEARS OF CONTINUITY DOWN THE DRAIN! I hope they change their mind because I can't cope with that much of a change. every thing I new about DC will never have existed!

  • As much as I hate Htler, I agree with him...for once. In this case.

  • "Bring me Fear Itself"

    I laughed out loud...so hard

  • Man, doesthe video have very valid points. Well done.

  • All you need is good stories and good characters by people who actually know the characters. Give fans something to want to comic like getting back to way comics should be. Death, destruction, dark stuff over last 10 years has ended up hurting the industry. Don't even get me started on Casual Friday (GA wannabe) Superman.

  • @ 2:53 You listening, Johns, you fucking pussy?!

  • Ha Ha Ha Ha Fuck DC Comics Marvle Rules

  • @bathoodrlsh I'm more of a DC guy and, that while Marvel did give some good storylines, they screwed up more with it's stories and characters than DC ever did. One more day (oh no), Civil War, clone saga, etc... yes, DC had 52 but it was declared non-canonical when it was finished. Yes, they had cry for justice. Yes, they had All star Batman but it wasn't in the same continuoty as the real Batman. I have nothing agaisnt people who like Marvel, I think Marvel needs rebooting though not DC.

  • @bathoodrlsh Hey. Despite whats happening, I still love DC. And this won't be that much of a success and there is hope this'll reverse, despite what some people say. But at the very same time, I'm a Marvel fan as well, as a big comic book fan.

  • I todally agree with hittler!!!......DC did a crapy job at rebooting their comics!!!

  • @harleyquinn4512 It shouldn't last.

  • Jim Lee decided that just anyone can succeed at sales, but failure? That sounds like a challenge! Let's see if I can run the whole company in the ground!! That would be an achievement!!

  • lol its funny though.... Batman is the one of the many characters that WONT change at all Batman Inc is till going after the reboot.

  • Bryan Q Miller's Batgirl is like the German destroy at the Falaise pocket :(

  • I hope they make Batman realistic, like in the Nolan Movies. I would love the Joker to be moderned after Ledger's interpretation.

  • @walmartpimp2 Mo ofence, but thats really stuid idea.

  • @Ikarosus No what's stupid is the far fetched fairytale shit they pass off as comics. I mean what the fuck, Batman has access to alien technology, yet he fights crime in tights. The Joker falls in acid, and winds up having white skin, a ruby red grin, and red hair, yet when Harvey Dent gets exposed to acid he winds up looing like Seal. Batman throwns a batarang and the shit knocks the guns out of his enemies hands and magicaly flys back to his hand, yeah the fuck right. Nolan has it right.

  • @walmartpimp2 i don't get "nolan has it right"? batman still doesn't kill there either. it's a story i don't care if it realistic. i want it to be entertaining. but it's true that most "mainstream" comics are geared to a super hardcore fan base that really doesn't want things to change no matter what they said. In the end people need to calm down, reading this stuff is suppose to be fun.

  • I can't wait for the reboot. I wanted to get into comics and it's difficult to get into a series when you just pick up an issue at random. Also reading the story on wikipedia just kills the suspense.

  • @number150000 Based on previews, what author said about it and the fact, that they want a lot of thigs before reboot to be canon, it seems lie its going to be confusing as hell.

  • I think the reboot is a great idea. I didn't buy DC and I'm really excited to get into it.

  • The problem isn't the writers, it's the retarded characters in their moronic universe. I'm glad DC is rebooting, maybe they'll be less pathetically implausible.

  • @evil5150 You are so right. DC is so unrealistic. Marvel is much more realistic...everyone knows when you get bombarded with deadly radiation you get powers. Big dudes dressed in purple wanting to eat my planet...so realistic!

  • @Vedren2 You've never been to Asgard?

  • @Vedren2 yeah Spider-Man and Wolverine being in 6 teams is realistic lol

  • @SSj5Alan Dude, Both Spider-Man and Wolverine are only on 3 teams

Spider-Man: Avengers, Future Foundation, Heros for Hire

    Wolverine: X-Men, X-Force, Avengers

  • @SSJ3MJ yeah, when combined is 6 teams. :p

  • @SSj5Alan Oh yeah lol.

  • @evil5150 How would you fix it?

  • @thecommentmaster1 Green lantern should use his ring to kill Lex Luthor and the Joker.

  • @evil5150 But thats murder

  • @thecommentmaster1 Luther and the Jokers are murders, they're criminals at large that need to be brought to justice. If Batman and Superman can't do it, why not Green Lantern. If you don't like execution, how about he imagines a green justice system that imprisons all the bad guys. DC villains are great at escaping prison though, killing them is much more effective

  • Jonah Hex vs Superman? Someone should write that! XD

  • 'Bring me Fear itself' - I died laughing.

  • worlfless now your comics re worth more than ever

  • I've heard that the comics that have high sales like green lantern and batman will most likely stay the same except for a few changes. I am actually excited for some of the new titles especially the one with the Red Hood, great to see Jason Todd finally get out of Batman's shadow. I think this reboot is good okay as long as they stay true to the characters we all know, it's also great to see new takes on characters I've never cared for but might try out but I can see how fans of those series mi

  • "Bring me Fear Itself" lulz

  • Hitler right at the end.

DC will definitely go back to original numbering. Action comic will reach it's 1000 issue in a couple of years.

It wouldn't t be be DC if they didn't try milk that too.

  • Yeah rebooting the whole universe is stupid for DC. jesus DC let Disney shit I mean Marvel do stupid things like this. don't follow, you are a leader in the comic industry don't do it. a reboot means a whole nother round of origin stories. Everyone knows already how DC characters came 2 be damn DC. if u want 2 add more characters do so but leave the other legacies alone. don't be like Family Guy who turned Stewie from funny n evil 2 a whimp n gay

  • I really really hate how the new youtube has the playback options pop up infront of the video. I read subtitles slow so I need to pause and when I do it covers the bottom line.

  • DC Should have made a Universe Dedicated for Casual Fans, NOT REBOOT EVERYTHING!

  • 2:14 he says Stalin as Superman pops up on the screen. Stalin means "Man of Steel"

  • Who Knew Hitler Was Such A dedicated Reader

  • I have a feeling this reboot won't last long. Just like every dead characters in comic. Once the gimmick wares off. Things will go back to normal.

  • Right on Hitler...

  • I love this really. Its awesome funny. Who knew Hitler would react this way. I wonder if he's gonna join those protesting at SDCC. ha ha.

  • The man knows how to rant. lol.

  • I never thought I would say this, but I totally agree with Hitler. Except for the Batman RIP, that story was just stupid.

  • @DodgerRiley Well, when you look at grant Morrisons run as a one huge story, its actually suprisingly good. Atleas for me.

  • @Ikarosus And grossly inconsistent. RIP had nothing to do with Batman's death. It was a cheap attempt to get people to buy a comic for just a big event. I was impressed by some of RIP, but it wasn't worth yanking fans chains by saying batman was going to die. IT showed how sloppy the editing of DC has become. Joker was useless and the Eurotrash villains were something Adam West could have defeated easily. Not Adam West as Batman, just Adam West the actor.

  • @DodgerRiley Have you read Batman and Robin series? The Batman and Robin must die tory arc?

  • @Ikarosus NO, because the idea of Dick Grayson being Batman is too stupid. Batman is as much about intellect as Superman is strength. In DC nowadays everyone just concentrates on his martial arts ability. And how many Robin's are there now, 4? And he's not even Bruce's son. He's just an expendable tank grown hydbrid clone. Deathstroke is gonna shoot him in the head and everyone will forget he ever existed.

  • @DodgerRiley No offence, but thats really stupid reason. Snyders run on Detective comics (with the Dick as a Batman) is so far, the best Batman series out there. And its propably going to be one of the greatest Batman stories ever. , Batman and Robin series is awesome. Even those who hate the idea of Dick being Batman, love that series. And there is NO WAY you can undestand R.I.P. without reading entire Morrisons run. Batman and Robin must die is almost direct sequel to R.I.P. and Final Crisis.

  • @Ikarosus OK, why was it even called RIP? Being buried alive and being in a helicopter explosion are hardly out of the normal situations for comic book characters (let's be honest). At least admit that RIP was basically a sad attempt to take advantage of readers who were expecting Batman's death. Btw, there was no real connection between RIP and Final Crisis

  • @DodgerRiley

R.I.P. was called that, because of the storyline, not because Batman was actually supposed to die. Grant never said (as far as I know), or was going to kill Batman.

Yes, there is. Read the entire run.

  • @Ikarosus He actually does if you look at his interview here on YT with Pulp Secret. Haven't read RIP, making no judgement on it, just saying.

  • @Ikarosus Do you mean when he goes directly to the Batcave after helicopter crash and starts investigating Orion's death? That is hardly a connection. It was DD and GM trying to cover their asses.

  • @DodgerRiley What about Doctor Hurt being Darkseid? Also, the problem is, you still see R.I.P. as stand alone story, not as part of one huge storyline.

  • @Ikarosus When it was made it was a Stand Alone story. There was no intention of expanding it. It was just DD and GM trying to cover their asses from such a disappointing storyline, that suffered from not having been planned out properly b/c they were too eager to sell #1 issue to fanboys

  • @DodgerRiley WTF ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT!! It was NEVER a sand alone story. Morrison, since the begining, plaed every single issue of his run. You can see that. Reread the entire run from Batman and son to R.I.P. and you will clearly see that.

  • @Ikarosus It built up to Batman being in an exploding helicopter. Hardly anything worth noting. Total waste of Joker, and the league of racist stereotype heroes....do i even need to get started? Gosh, I hope they get rid of that storyline in reboot.

  • Mike from Asylum brought me here.

  • Fucking brilliant.

  • You know, Hitler... there are other companies besides DC and Marvel that make comics...

  • @MovieTheaterLad Image comics. OH WAIT, Mirage and TMNT series. Then there is manga.

  • "You don't need to start from #1 to read comics! You only need capable writers."

I never thought I'd see that day where I'd say that I agree with Adolf fucking Hiter :-/

  • @hippiehunter Totally true, is freak be agree with Adolf but is like the writers think that we are so stupid that they have to reboot everythink just because "the readers aren't going to understand our comic" just put in elseworld. Yeah someones look good like... the new Static Shock or Blue Beetle but some like Nightwing.... THEY ARE A BUNCH OF FUCKING PEOPLE. NIGHTWING OUTFIT RED? he looks like batman beyond and is a HORRIBLE IDEA better GO TO THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is so fucking true

  • I'll just continue reading my "Wizard" made me chuckle.

  • Finally something got right!

  • I'm just happy I'm getting Catwoman and Blue Beetle again. It probably won't last but I miss Selina.

  • im sure he said bring me Fear itself!! cause he needs to Shit..

  • I laughed so hard at this and the line "My collection is now worthless" and the final end with "Bring me Fear Itself". That was great.

  • Wow! It's Denny O'Neil with hair!

  • "My wednesdays are free"

    fucking gold!

  • @Kwinnky true lol xD

  • DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT HITLER IS TALKING ABOUT?! THIS IS JUST WRONG!

  • @Bomba115 No sh*t :P

  • Renumbering Detective Comics is pointless. When I was a kid I didn't hesitate to buy it because I hadn't read the previous 500 issues. I wanted to read a cool Batman story. If I'm not a regular fan already then what would I care what number's on the issue as long as I can understand the story (and it interest me) that lies within the cover.

  • Thanks, cheezburger!

  • First time I heard that DC was relaunching their titles, I thought they were giving out new origins to old characters and nixing current storylines for younger, grittier, settings and so forth. Then I found out they're keeping the stories, just ditching the current numbers. WTF does that do? The only people who are going to care are the avid(and by avid I mean stupid)collectors(not all collectors are stupid)who think these are going to be worth something. NOPE.

  • "... the scum of the internet..." LMFAO !!!

  • I love these "Hitler Reacts..." videos, but this one had me rolling throughout. Great commentary on the medium, stability of comicshops, and the fans. Especially the really pissed off ones.

Side note: I personally can't wait for September.

  • Comment removed

  • you got linked by slashfilm :)

  • Bring me Fear Itself!!!!! I laughed so fuckin hard!!!!

  • but Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis on Aquaman. That's a good call.

  • Are Fear Itself and Flashpoint any good?

  • @birdcagemind So far, Flashpoint is really good.

  • i love how he's upset about reading fear itself. which is basically nazi's taking over america with giant hammers

  • I'm excited about the reboot, but this was still magical. Golf clap!!!

  • Every "Jumping ON point," is a "Jumping OFF point."

  • I bet in another 10 or 20 years DC will make another reboot. Sucks!

  • I totally feel like Hitler feel's right now, I mean it´s like somenone grabed all that I read for the past years and thrown away an said: okay lets start all over again. The page of Batman #700 when the last page said "To 700 More", well guess what there won't be 700 more, 700 Issues thrown to Garbage I don´t freaking believe it.

  • @otakingmx There WILL be 700 more. There just won't be a Batman #1400 anytime soon. I can live with that.

  • @friscokid182 Anytime soon!!! not even Bob Kane lived to see Batman # 700, all of us will be dead before they get another 700 issue wich frankly I don´t think they will (they didn´t even had the guts to continue the already existing issues) You have any Idea of how much efort, sacrifice, time and money it needs to achieve an 700 issue of a comic (and thank good Bob is dead because if he saw the work of a life time being erased it would have killed him)

  • @otakingmx I understand your pain, but...it's just a number, y'know? It's not like they're cancelling Batman, and it's not like they're pretending the last thirty-odd years of Batman history never happened. They just recognize that it's easier for new readers to get into books if they don't feel like they missed out on 700 issues of important backstory.

I'm sure Batman will be just as kickass as he always was. Rest assured, man. The guys at DC haven't abandoned you.

  • cant believe i'm saying this..but i understand where Hitler is coming from

  • At long last I can honestly say I agree with Hitler.. oh boy, better not say that out loud without an explanation.

Very funny skit to a 'reboot' situation that I think has been handled badly IMO.. past events gave you advanced warning far ahead of time, this news feels more like a bombshell with very little warning and highly controvertial. The writers of some titles gave the readers the impression there was years of plotlines to come, tales I was looking forward to reading. Shame.

  • Are Superman and Lois still married?

  • I agree with all of you! Decades of legacy in the trash, just because Warner Bros wanted to boost the sales. Bob Kane should haunt the Warners for their reeboot on Batman...

  • This is seriously funny. "I would rather read Wizard on my nook, bring me Fear Itself" LOL !!

I stopped buying mainstream nearly 2 years ago and dont miss it at all and I have cussed myself for wasting the past 2-3 years spending on a hobby that no longer gave me any joy. I really dont care if Mogo has been blown up or Batman now has a pee pee hole in his batsuit, much less Batman Inc.

  • HILARIOUS!

  • Someone give him Captain America #1

  • Comment removed

  • "Bring me fear itself"

  • what kind of aspie loser gets all pissed because of a "reboot" after a while things start to stagnate and need to be refreshed.

guess what? all the history and legacy and all that crap is still there, it isn't magically erased from existence because of a reboot.

if you are actually upset about this you need to go back to your hugbox.

  • @vxskud Actually there was a very good reason for people to get upset. Too little information from DC when the news was broken made it sound like a complete reboot. I knew it wasn't but DC actually had to close down its forums for 6 hours due to the bandwidth usage going through the roof.

  • they best not remove all the superheroes they've got now. Batman and Superman are amazing. They could team up with Disney's Marvel and make Marvel/DC

  • The comics industry needs to do something, bro.

  • how the hell does his collection become useless, as long as people remember the classic stories and enjoy them the the old dcu will never die out. this is why you lost ww2 adolf...because you quit.

besides its still a huge possibility that this thing will fall through and they'll go back to the old dcu

  • Every time I watch these videos, I hope the person producing it makes use of the word "Stalin".

    Most often I am disappointed.

  • Wonderful! At least those commanding officers had the good sense of not telling him about the fate of Batman Inc...

  • This video was more truthful than funny.

  • Bring me fear itself :(

    LOL

  • I've never laughed harder in my life. If only Geoff Johns would have watched this.

  • Poor Hitler, the guy can never get a break,1st he didn't get to fully implement his final solution and now his comic collection won't be complete! You gotta feel for the guy LOL :P Seriously though we should all be buying more 2000Ad Graphic novels, they are pretty good with their continuity and the Batman/ Judge Dredd crossover was pretty good, most of it anyhow. I don't get it, they shoulda just gone to 900 and then rebooted, how come people in the big jobs in movies. comics etc are retarded?

  • @riastradh2 Um, is the number 900 somehow magical?

  • @matthewlane Yes I think It's considered a milestone for some people who have been collecting for years and years. I'm not one of those people, I'm more of a graphic novel type of reader but it's important to some people and when you dedicate alot of time to something and then get no resolution it can be frustrating, it's kind of like feeling like your about to sneeze and then it never comes I suppose. It's also not good business to piss off your fanbase.

  • @riastradh2 Seems like a pretty arbritrary thing to me mate. I don't care what issue a book is as long as the stories good.

  • @matthewlane Well Obviously me too since I only buy graphic novels, but we all have things we like and I am all for people getting what they want as much as possible, it wouldn't matter to anyone else either way but would make some people happy

  • @riastradh2 Seems like a pretty pointless thing to get wrapped up in. I could understand it if it was the story, or the character or even the writing/art sytle, but a numbering convention. Hitler may be right when he said comic book fans are idiots... This relaunch has shown that pretty clearly.

  • @matthewlane Being wrapped up in something pointless doesn't make you an idiot, it's just how people distract themselves so they don't have to wake up and see the world for what it really is. It's a coping mechanism and we all do it on some level, it's just how the human brain is wired. If it makes someone happy you shouldn't knock it.

  • @riastradh2 "it's just how people distract themselves so they don't have to wake up and see the world for what it really is"

Um, so now your saying the number 900 is magical? I'm confused is it magical or not?

  • @matthewlane No I'm not saying that you just didn't read my post very well. I don't think I can help you with your confusion, thats for every man to work through themselves...

  • Good writers. Even Hitler gets it!

Stop killing off good characters D.C. There are other ways to have drama in a story besides the death of a character. Stop with the gigantic no-one-can-afford multi issue crossovers. I'm not spending $200 to read all of Flashpoint, sorry.

And lastly, bring back Vic Sage and Ted Kord already, dammit.

  • Hitler and I touch common ground on the prospect of owning Detective Comics #900 being taken away from us. :(

  • ....holy sh*t, one of these videos FINALLY put "Steiner" at the 0:30 mark to perfect use!

  • haha well said!

  • Awesome!

  • This is magnificent. Kudos to whoever put this together!

  • If DC comics actually CARED about their readers/fan base they would have polled them to see if they would have WANTED a reboot, but then they'd have to face the fact that a majority of us don't WANT another reboot, and they'd just do it anyway. Ah well. Marvel has been eating DC's lunch for about 10 years now. A pity, because I'm a bigger fan of other DC characters than Marvel characters.

  • @newguy2002 Its not a reboot, its a reluanch. Okay yes it has some reboot like features, but its not a reboot.

  • @newguy2002 It's not about their readers/fanbase. From everything I'm hearing, it's more about pandering to Silver Age fanatics at DC who want EVERYTHING exactly like it was when they were kids. Same characters in the same roles, and getting rid of everything that has happened since. That seems to be the REAL motivation, disguised as trying to attract new readers.

  • I never thought I would identify with hitler!

  • This is actually how a lot of DC fans reacted.

  • Jonah Hex is my favorite comics character. I want to see him tackle Supes now.

  • This was actually well written!

  • what scene is this from?

  • @boing3887 "downfall", a german movie from 2004

  • I don't agree, BUT that's still amusing as all hell.

  • superman flies and is super strong! what the fuck else do you need to know!

    love it

  • @kirbylisk funny because its true to an extent

  • Preach it HItler!

  • I applaud you.

  • Oh, this was wonderful.

  • OK, that was hysterical. When Hitler was ranting about putting a cape on Jonah Hex, he ended with "and have him kill Superman." The original soundtrack has Hitler ending with the name Stalin. Stalin was a pseudonym.. it means "Man of Steel."

  • hahahahahahahah!!!

  • "superman flies and is really strong, what the f**k else do you need to know?"

    An absolute classic!

  • I can't possibly be the only one that thinks that could be really cool. The never-ending plight of the fan-boy, dissing something before it even emerges. I'm actually excited, tell me good stories and I couldn't care less about continuity.
