@Charlie45ization your wrong true m4 carbine have a 14in or less barrel ar 15 and clones are civillian versions of the m16 which has a 20 inch barrel. the only way a flash hider or muzzle break adds to the lenght of the barrel is if its permanently attached ie welded on or cannot be removed or else its a short barreled rifle that need a 200 dollar tax stamp to be legal
Just curious, was this rifle going to used for cqb? I ask cause of the twist rate. You didny go for the upgraded package? Im only asking cause im a lefty thinking about going with stag. Although i think i may get a right handed gun for easier parts availibility
@ThePathfinder71 not sure what you mean by cqb.. but its twist rate is 1/9 and that will throw up to 62 grain bullets well and i dont see the need for anything more heavier than that. im going to be using 55 grain mostly because of bulk ammo prices.if you want the lefty you could always change the barrel

by the way most AR-15's usually have a 14'' barrel but by adding the flash hider they get it to the legal length of 16''
