  • i am thinking of building one of these rafts. the trouble is that i cannot row to save my life. would i be able to create a sail and a rudder system? if you have any help please respond

  • @WtFCBermudaCake Thanks! i was reading that page and i saw something about eugene and the willamette and the columbia. Pacific northwest? like oregon? because i'm not far from there and if theres another trip down the willamette i want to do it too.

  • It looks like a good raft but seriously how could it take you months to make?

  • I have work/family and had about 5 hours a week to work on the raft. We just build another raft this past weekend with 6 people and in the end it will take about 60 man hours to build/test/get materials but the first probably took 70 or so because had to be designed and it was the first one so that works out to about 14 weeks. Obviously if it was my full time job it could have been done in a couple weeks.
