  • Hey, I've been traveling all over Georgia for right at a year now exploring, and trying to find neat little getaways that are'nt real well known, and documenting them. Take a look if you get the chance, and let me know what you think.

    Thanks!!!

  • We have called the kayak place and left messages and cant get anyone to answer and they are the only ones that rent overnight.

  • I would keep trying--they are a small operation and are out allot--they may even be closed for the winter. Have you emailed them?

  • Yes, I really do prefer mud--even with the parasite risk. Chemicals do nothing but make me sick and make the chem. company's rich and pollute the environment--mud is the way to go for insect and sunscreen!

  • Hey bud, I stopped by tybee island for the first time when I was coming back from Florida. It was the first week of April so no biting insects. I looked with binoculars across the inlet to little tybee and yea how quiet it looked just a few egrets or herons. I saw a few people in canoes heading over there. As far as the mud or chemical, the mud is better cause the deet stuff they say is no good to use on skin straight. In florida once, biting knats were after me and a guy told me mud myself
