The fact that there are actually people like that in the world is unbelievably depressing. There is no hope for humanity. It's times like these that I wish there really was a god so that I would be convinced there is at least SOME justice in the world.

I don't think she got p'wnd here. Who is not sick of gov. dipping into the Social Sec. system which is part of the reason it is in trouble in the firstplace? This money was never supposed to be touched. She is merely suggesting that we make it like a 401k system where we essentially control our future retirement. And about the EPA. Luckily, liberals/progressives don't need to demonize Angle, because she does such a terrific job of demonizing herself. @linkfan22 Not with the current corporate ownership of US politics. You can essentially buy an election with the commercialized aspect of US politics right now. Lobbyist groups owned by the GOP and a few conservative Dems can also essentially control the outcome of bills introduced in the senate, and are almost exclusively fucking over the US in favor of self-satisfying policies, which is reflected most lucidly in the recent healthcare situation. Tax breaks and deregulation for the rich, etc.

@TAz69x, i would take issue with some of what you said. It isn't lobbying groups "owned by" the GOP or ConservaDems that are the problem. It's the other way around -- it's the lobbying groups(Big Insurance, Oil, Pharma, Defense, Wall Street, ect.) that "own" the GOP and ConservaDems that determine legislative outcome and most definitely are the problem.
