@MrPawelGas Hello, I used to own a 1989 Audi 200 Quattro. It is my favorite car of many that I have owned (currently an S8). The next year (1990) saw a big increase in hp from 20 valve engine. Anyway, the Quattro drive at that time had two modes. You could lock the differential with this button - but only on a surface that would allow the wheels to slip (like dirt, sand or snow) and below 25 mph. Above 25 mph and on hard surface you must unlock the differential with this button.

No, they did not. I fact I know one guy who made a coupe audi 200 for himself, I think it was for slalom, so it is not so nicely made, but as far as I know I handles quite good now

I may have an idea. It may be audi coupe produced untill ~1990, google for 'typ85', or it may be very rare models audi 80 GLS or audi 80 GLE... Try to google for it. Or maybe it is Audi 100 C1 coupe, you can se an example in Audi_100 page in wikipedia, there is an orange one. Is it what you were looking for?

You have no idea how do I love your baby. The best car of all times. Seriously. But what does a button under DIFF button do? Is for disabling automatic diff unlocking? And what about steering wheel? They were never going with airbags, right? If it is so, you probably took it from C4? Is it conencted to sensors? Thanks for answers

Thanks for your opinion. I like my car like my second girlfriend. :-) The button under the DIFF is for the shade on the rear body glass. The airbags, you are not right informed, a lot of 220V got in series from audi at the drivers site airbags and in the audi V8 they also got at last series airbags at the passengers side.

Thank you for information. That's stupid that I didn't know the thing about airbag. I thought that was for V8 only, and only for driver. Again: your baby is so nice... I see it is quite stock, or are the any modifications? Is that shade button original or self-made? Haven't seen those before
