I remember seeing Simon Says on tour with Type O Negative back in 1999 or 2000. I was really impressed with these guys. Great live show and real catchy songs. I didn't have a clue who the were before then, but I left that show a fan. Wish they were still together.

Like the way Mike doesn't just go all out, he doesn't need to add a bunch of super complex stuff to the song, he just makes sure it has a gritty feel to it, he uses his amazing skills when needed, not just for the hell of it.

So, I got the CD from Amazon the other day and the album version of this song and this video are different. I like both, however this version is more just NONSTOP rock! Does anyone know where I can get this version as well? Any help would be much appreciated!

P.S. - I highly recommend buying this album! If you like Deftones, then you will love this album!

although it's unfortunate that mike can no longer rock out fans around the world on tour, i think his true calling is being a drum teacher as he is an enormous resource for youtubers nation- and possibly worldwide. there are hugely popular bands with only adequate drummers, so a band's popularity is not a reflection of the drummer's ability. simon says sounds pretty damn good, but i've never heard of them until now. i wonder if they received the marketing push they deserved.
