@tom88cba in the encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding by arnold he says that he would squat for many reps with 500 lbs......no i dont believe he did much low rep lifts but as a bodybuilder he wouldnt need to.....doing squats for reps above 10 is what he did, and trust me squating a lot of weight more than ten times or even up to twenty reps is one of the most exhausting things i have ever done.

I think some people here think these guys walk around year round looking like this. We don't. You are looking at a competition. Bodybuilders train and plan for this event. Off season, we carry more fat and train and eat differently. We calculate to the digit what we eat, lift, and even drink as you close in on a competition. On and off the stage, this man's body is stellar.
