thanks but i have another quick question can you get that modification with the front seat still their and with out the lift underneath? I was wondering if a wheelchair lift for the inside could work to pick your chair up also where would the seat belt go and what not. pm me , im looking to get a tahoe or suburban myself and just looking at options. thanks
@monkeyboy8me For a transfer model? We no longer offer the conversion with the pillar removal unfortunately. We offer a transfer model that the client enters the passenger side rear door, the center of the floor is lowered, a transfer seat is installed and we still use the Braun NUVL lift. The conversion we offer now retains the OEM integrity of the body, is alot faster entry, and the other doors can be used by able bodied passengers for loading. A seat belt for the driver is also installed.
@monkeyboy8me We have custom suicide hinges made especially for our vehicles. We did remove the pillar and replaced it with a part we have designed here for support and weather seal. The door shown does not open up 90 degrees, all the new conversions with the use of our hinges do open a full 90 degrees.
@proth34 : We no longer offer the driver conversion on the Suburban as shown. We do offer the Suburban still, but it is a transfer model. You enter the passenger side rear door (its suicided) the center of the floor is lowered and you use a B&D transfer seat to postion yourself to drive. Our website has pictures and the toll free number is: 800-799-4806 Thank you
