i have a freeflow queen size waterbed but im not sure i have it filled up enough how can i tell if my waterbed is full enough. plus it seems to constantly have air pockets in it even after i bleed them more come back, any help would be great.
The misconception that most people have is that all waterbeds are all the same which isn't true. Just like regular mattresses, they are available from soft to firm. In this example, our 4k mattress has 8 inches of fiber inside which dampens the waves and also gives you more back support so you don't hammock in the mattress as much as if you would in a free flowing waterbed mattress.
I just ordered a semi motion mattress for my hard side waterbed, i'm so excited to set it up! It moves more than this mattress but a little less than free flow, i thought free flow might throw me around a little too much but i still wanted a lot of waves in it so i got semi motion
@SuperKare123 Well my waterbed is from 1984 and i got it for free :P My parents had it and i always liked it when i was little and they didn't have it set up so they gave it to me. It's california king size, it has a really nice headboard with a big mirror and a few shelves and a drawer on the left and right sides of the headboard, and there's 12 drawers underneath. It sets up higher than most waterbeds because They ordered an extra set of drawers to go under it so it would sit up really high
@Declipse16 cool, im saving up for a california king size waterbed, me and my dad are going to custom make the wood frame, and buy a free flow mattress along with a heater and some lining
@Tbolt1000TForLife My waterbed was my parent's they got it in 1984 :P But i got the semi-flow mattress because the free flow is a bit too crazy, and i got new liner too when i got the mattress in july. I LOVE it it's so comfortable and warm :D
'it feels just like your sleeping on water...except, you can feel your partner breathing, its impossible to sink into the bed, its very uncomfortable, and it costs more then a regular bed...but other then that, its a fine bed
