@1ito08 More than likely this is the issue, but the problem with you sending me the board so I can reball the gpu in this situation is I won't be able to test it because I don't have a tv to put it in and I don't get enough of these that I feel I need to buy the tvs for testing, so it would be your call to send it in and give it a shot, but it's not guaranteed, sorry.
@1ito08 the reball repair is 75, i would need your address and box dimensions and box weight so i could create a custom invoice on this one, so i could try to save you money on shipping. Thanks for asking me, but to be honest, I really don't know. If you replaced the bulb and it worked for a while, did you check the bulb again? You are not suppose to touch the bulbs with your finger because it can leave an oil residue on them and cause them to go bad again. Other than that I'm not a TV expert by any means, just reball the chips when the video is bad. I have replaced bulbs in these before though, which is pretty straight forward.
Hey I was wondering if u could help me fix my tv. The light went out replaced it n never came back on. Check the switch on the door n its good, wondering if its the ballast but not to sure cause I was able to get it to turn on for a while. Please get back to me thanks.
I have black vertical lines and the screen goes off and on sometimes, is this the issue? My TV is HLR5078
