I come from the swing world and am not familiar with ballroom comps... are these similar to strictly's? In other words they pick their partner and improvise.... or is this choreographed?? I saw a lot of breaking away and couldn't tell
Jonathan came out of retirement after Season 6 of DWTS. He and Valentina paired up to dance Pro Smooth and try to claim a National title. Jonathan and Anna are not participating on Season 7 of DWTS because both of them are focusing on the rest of the championships this year with their pro partners.
It also looks like Tony and Elena came out of retirment as well. There is a video from a month or so ago of them two in a competition. Guess these guys can't stay away from it. I don't blame them, i wouldn't want to stop every.
She is an inspiration. Thank god she's found a partner strong enough to really showcase her. They look great together, and have such wonderful innovative choreography. I see them only getting better!

I've always adored Valentina. Was very sad she and David split up, but ecstatic she is partnering Jon now.

I thought Jonathan wasn't dancing competively anymore? Isn't that why Anna has a new partner because she wanted to continue competeing?
