@thefirstwhiteknight squeeze the tips until they're all small and compressed, put them deep into your ear canal, then hold them in place and in a matter of seconds the foam will expand and mould itself into the shape of your ears, creating a perfect seal. If your ear canals are small these tips may provide an uncomfortable experience as the foam will never fully expand. On the other side, if your canals are too large, the foam won't fill them up and are useless.

This is so weird, i bought new In ears today along with these foam tips. I bought Ultimate Sound in ears. When i tried them out in the store on a Iphone 4, it sounded incredible, especially the bass. But now at home, with my I-river H10 and Ipod touch, i just don't get that bass at all with the foam tips, but i DO get it with the biggest size buds of the In ears itself.

@bigkabuto Some people feel that the Comply tips take away bass as opposed to the silicon tips. Some people say it improve the bass. I'm in the last camp, I do think that the highs get a little more rounded off but the bass is slightly better. They are a lot more comfortable than the silicone ones for me.

Bought recenty 2 package of 5 pair at Comply.com they charged me 11 dollar chipping. But it had to be 4,80 Dollar!!!!!!

Do these tips block out the ambient sound? I had a pair of Shure headphones that basically blocked any sounds in my environment. Great for indoors, probably dangerous when walking though ;)

So are these worth it if you have headphones with good seal already, will they improve the sound quality at all? I only ask as i just think £20 for foam eartips seems a bit much

Good review. I'm glad these are working out well for you. I've heard nothing but good things about the Comply tips. Regular tips work just fine for me, so I haven't tried them, but I have a friend who these might be perfect for. So thanks for the vid. =)

i just ordered them off of skullcandys site they are $8.65 i think for 3 pairs way better than ordering them off of the comply site unless you want colored ones.

thoughs yellow ones were 6 weeks of use and u use them them 1-2 hours a day?

i listen to music about 10-12 hours a day. lets figure out how long they would last me...

ill split ur time a day right down the middle and say 1.5 hours a day for 6 weeks...

1.5x7x6= 63 hours

ill split mine down the middle and say i listen 2 music 11 hours a day

63/11= about 6 days...

lets say that is real and will get that bad in 6 days...

6x3= 18

that would mean i would have to spend $20.00 every 2.5 weeks...

Really good review though and I think I have the same kind of ears as you. I never understood why I couldn't wear ear buds but I guess its because I also have shallow ear canals. I should give them a try maybe but I also just don't like in ear buds but it is a good alternative.
