How to Connect to a wireless network and also Secure it

mine doesnt work for XP it used to but i reinstalled windows and it wont pick up my wireless linksys router

@TheYoshiKid ok..1) drivers for wireless card has been installed properly? 2) are you able to see/connect any other wireless devices other than your linksys router(if yes check your linksys settings on router page) 3) are you using the wireless software given by wireless manufacturer or using the windows native wireless service(if using manufacturer try windows native service)
