Sometimes when I save in a games, then next time when I play it I must play from the beginning. Quick Formated the card many times, with the same result. Can't make a full format anymore.

Would it be a wise move to set all saves to 4mb flash? I have had some problems saving pretty much any game, i tried to 4mb flash on zelda and worked fine, or do you need ot get the right kinda save for the right kinda game?

Or would it be that the 4mb would cover all games (in theory yeah?)

I can confirm this is a bad purchase, inside the DS Cart is a small SRAM battery that keeps the save files on the cart, when that battery dies, the saves are ALL LOST. And replacing the battery is meerly impossible for a few reasons, the battery is soldered to the DS Cart circuit board, and when you open the DS Cart casing, you basically destroy it unless you manage to buy a replacement from somewhere. And from personal experience, the internal battery lasts about 1year.

Do you know what SRAM Saving is? Its like battery-backed saves and the battery is located ON the DS Cart circuit board especially the DS Fire Card (and its clones). When that goes your saves will be lost. Nothing to do with the DS Battery. However batteries like this usually last 1-5 years depending on your usage, it could also be rechargeable so there is not really any worry, except when the battery actually dies due to wear and tear.

I saw one of these at deal extreme and was confuse. It said "All in one 2GB (16Gbit) solution". So does the slot 1 card has 16gb storage and the slot 2(gba card) has 2gb.

HOW TO SOFT RESET:

1) Go into the firecard menu

2) Highlight over which ever rom you want to soft reset

3) Hold down select and click left or right until "Save Type" is Auto (If its already Auto, skip this)

4) Play the game and when you want to soft reset hold L+R+A+B+X+Y until you get back to the firecard main menu :)

Yes you can watch videos and music. The other cards use moonshell so you can just download moonshell and put it back on. The only difference with other cards is they automatically load it but you have to select it yourself on firecard. I know because i got one and i put moonshell on it myself

Quick Review. The Fire card already has a 1GB inside the chip. And it's 20 Bucks. Whilst the R4 requires you to buy the 30$ + set, then [probably] a micro sd card. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product. Worth it. But YOU CANT WATCH MOVIES OR LISTEN TO MUSIC.. Well, I don't know yet XD

I noticed the firmware link you gave goes to a page for something called an "N-card". Does this mean that the fire card is just another name for N-card is there some mistake?

The Fire Card is just an N-Card clone. N-Card firmware is the newest and best firmware for this card! Not an error!

Ive deleted every game and even the game folder and put new games on and tried to play and it says file error for everything on my card. when I pull it up on my computer it has 10 to 100 sav. files for iron man which I dont have on my card any more. I just read through the comments and seen one question about how to add/install themes. I searched google with little luck on this. How did you put your theme on? My card only came with xmenu on it. I have photoshop and graphics experience to make my themes just don't know how to install it. so how did you get yours on?
