@XxdmanxX01 if you mean how do you start a fire with no supplies you are going to have to use friction, the bow drill or spindle method are some of the easiest. if you need a string for the bow you can use part of your shirt or pants and twist it to make it stronger. once you have an ember built up you need tinder to put it in and blow it to flame. dry tree bark works great, try to find a tree with smooth bark and peel off a piece, let it dry in the sun or next to your body
@daiaonu once it begins to dry split it up into the fibers then continue to let it dry. once its fully dry you can blow any ember to flame with it. after that its just like starting a fire with a match
@signedryan for the base board any hard wood like ash, maple, or oak would work but has to be extremly dry. (every survival guide iv ever read says the friction fires are extremly unreliable and should be a last resort) buttt... hardwood base with a soft wood spindle, nothing resinous like pine tho. and the bow can be any strong flexible wood like birch or willow
@daiaonu Thanks for the reply . I want to start camping with minimal supplies..like every week take something away so that info will help alot Thanks again
man if you have that hings better then go and drink milk. milky boy if you do like that then why you cant bring matches we wont how to start fire naturaly.
Do you know if metholated spirts woold work cos i always have some in my scout hike bag just in case and just wacthing this has got me thinking "what if my troop and i need to start a fire and we cant" so would metho work or is it too dangeruse?
@shoutITout2011 thanks for the question, if by menthylated spirits you mean likr rubbing alcohol, its certainly flamable. as far as it being able to start a fire, with proper kindling such as small dry twigs, dry grass, pine needles, birtch bark, ect. and dry wood it would work almost evey time. if your looking for sumthing to get wet wood started rubbing alcohol just doesnt burn hot enough or long enough. youv got me thinking tho i might do a video on this subject
its a fire starter, you shave bits of it off with knife or even a rock in a pinch and it ignights when a spark hits it athe block comes with a bar of flint on the other side for making a spark wich is what i used in the video, thanks for the question
@readme60 yep, easy to get and break up like that, you can also use dried out tree bark, just sepperate the fibers and make a nest it catches a spark real quick
@mrchal09r if your smart enough to pack it you will, never said i found it either so before you try to have a battle of wits with someone make sure your armed thanks for the views and comment :)
Don't stick your knifes blade into the ground, its terrible for the edge.

@crownvvc4 if your lighter were to get wet it wouldnt work, flint and steel works wet, dry, hot, cold, whatever

Why did you make a fire in the middle of a motherfuckin field with no fire ring, dumbass. I saw someone burn a tree by accident doing the same thing.
