Great track from The Carpenters and I still remember it from the late 70's when I was only a boy but sadly you can see Anorexia in her during the entire video here. This unfortunately took her life and talent she had. RIP. Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 – February 4, 1983).

ABBA also featured on this episode of Starparade, and this is where Richard and Karen heard Thank You For The Music. Karen complimented ABBA's Frida on her new perm and when the Carpenters later performed their own version of Thank You For The Music on The Tonight Show, Karen wore a very similar trouser suit to the one Frida wore on Starparade.
