Wow... NAD better get their heads out of their asses and start realizing what they've done were unacceptable. What message did they try to send to Deaf people? Probably not the right one.
FYI- just learned NAD Director's mother who taught or teaches Bell's School in Chicago. It comes from somewhat source. This caught my attention. You may find more if it is true. I thought it would be a conflict of interest for Howard handling the situation. He completely ignored our past NAD President, George Veditz.
Tape? That's all??? And NAD scolded at AFA for doing that? Oh please!! Now, I know more why I am not member of NAD. I knew NAD is very fragile organization for long time ... they only service elite deaf people, not a whole deaf people. That fails them big time. They need go back to square one and study themselves what they have done something wrong, and make the improvement - big time.
I like your gut to stand up in the front of NAD. That is what our Deaf community need to see the reality. You did good job on that issues I appreciate you for your encourage to stand up what you know that really impressed. I am sorry I did not show up today!
