Yes, Augie Colon did the bird calls. He died a couple of years ago, sad to say )-:

Great stuff! Talk about rare. That must be Augie Colon on most of the bird calls and Arthur Lyman on vibes, before he formed his own successful exotica band. This song was written and recorded by Les Baxter in 1951 and is the Rosetta Stone of all exotica music.
